30 August 19:11. Today we have been at a Gymkhana at Poppyfields Equestrian in aid of Pancreatic Cancer UK! Gino's donated the meat for the barbeque and a prize for the Tombola. It was a great success.....below is a note from the organiser.

Went on Xmas market Saturday.. . ( first time for hubby ) food was lovely . Great service, staff didn t act flustered at all even though very busy !!! They were very attentive and professional.. would definitely recommend this restaurant..thanks Ginos will defiantly return xx

Went for our Greenwoods Christmas meal last evening. The food was amazing as usual and the service very good. There was a good atmosphere in a lovely building.

We visit Lincoln regularly and always book when we are here. They even catered for around 35 people the night before our wedding and everyone really enjoyed their meal. Not 1 complaint. The staff are always polite and competent. The atmosphere is great too. Brilliant place and we absolutely love it. Definitely 5*. The only thing i would say is that i dont agree with a service charge being added to the bill. I think it should be down to the customer to decide what tip to leave depending on the service they receive.

The staff is very politely and you feel like at home. Great pizza and pasta, I served here. Thank you! �

Such a great restaurant and fantastic food! First time in the one off the Bailgate and it was lovely, the staff were helpful and always on hand if you needed anything. 100% we will be coming again.

Saturday night dinner. Both of us had a chicken dish and both were amazing. Delicious food. Nice wines and lovely place to chill, chat and catch up. Highly recommend and will definitely be back 👍🏾

My Wife and spent a few days in a Lincoln this week and on Monday after a busy day were looking for somewhere to have a cosy dinner sans kids

Well we came across Gino's and wow what a find

Staff were attentive but not overly so

The food was not only excellent but the portions were generous, in this age of chain restaurants it was nice to find a true independent

Calamari for starters then Chicken for Emma and a Huge Steak for me. Gino's is enough of a reason to return to Lincoln

If you love Italian food this is the place to go. The food is amazing cooked to perfection. Their staff are friendly and service is quick and efficient. Food came out hot and fresh. I recommend this restaurant to all lovers of food.

Have been here a few times and it has always been amazing, so I thought I would book a table for my boyfriends birthday as he has never been and I knew he would like it..... Well he enjoyed it alot the food as always was amazing the staff brilliant and did not have to wait long between course's even on a Saturday night thanks for a great evening and will deffo visit again!

Ginos is such a friendly warming restaurant customer service excellent for example didn't want any of mains I like but as I said liked steak and tagateli he was happy to do so it was a birthday celebration for my wife and with I'd to prove she gets drink main dessert for free amazing food x

Ginos deffinetly worth a visit, extremely busy, advisable to book, we didnt but, but got seated straight away. Food fabulous, sevice great. Would deffinetly visit again if in Lincoln.

What an amazing evening.

Let's start off with the staff! Friendly, professional, caring kind. Why would you not enjoy your self here.

Secondly the restaurant, the building is amazing totally beautiful. Old brick work made the evening feel so different and romantic. The furniture simple but clean and comfortable.

Thirdly the food! Just wow! This was not like your bog standard basic Italian. This food was something on another level. Every course we has was so full of flavour. If you read my reviews you will see I am a big food critic and I can honestly say this place is the first place I have eaten in in a long long time that had exceeded my expectations. Well done ginos

We were upstairs on Saturday evening a table for 3. The service was very good, always a smile and polite, we were made welcome and to feel important. The food was great and good size portions. Only negative was with a full restaurant it was noisy making conversation difficult and by the end of the evening ir was very hot upstairs.

Starter and main course amazing I didn’t give 5 Stars as the puddings weren’t very good, squirty cream and not home made but apart from that well worth a visit

Arrived in the evening at the main restaurant, however there was a table of adults shrieking and being very loud and rude,

We sat down but when the waiter took our drinks we decided we weren't going to stay because of all the noise.

However he said we could move to the other restaurant round the corner and I have to say the atmosphere was far better, the waiter was very good and polite and couldn't apologise enough. The food is tasty, however it is a little too overpriced (fillet steak £37??)

Well for £47 i have had much better. A spag bol which wasnt worth the money although it was nice was nothing fantastic to warrant the cost

The prawn cocktail left alot to be desired. For the price you get 8 small prawns and some fancy lettuce. Had much better elsewhere for less. Won't go again.
