Hi all, a reminder that tonight's second class will be working on two kata's for most of the night in smaller groups, with additional instructors on hand. The plan is to focus on seiunchin & Empi for those below black belt and shisoshin + another higher grade kata for the black belts and above. A chance to improve your kata or learn something new.
Regards Sensei Ed

Great to see so many training and improving kicks last night, lots of rosy faces leaving the Dojo. Don't forget to let me know if you're planning on competing in the World Cup qualifiers so we can help you get prepared. Would be good to see lots of you competing and trying to gain a place in this year's World Cup tournament.

Don't forget GKR no longer accepts cash payment for class training fees, you will require a 12 visit training pass or Direct Debit training pass to attend classes. Cash payments are still being accepted for equipment and seminars.

Two great classes last night, no 'Tricks' just lots of hard work by all who came to train, a few laughs along the way, with a few 'treats' at the end of class. Remember if your a 3rd kyu or above you should go along and train at the blackbelt assessment on Sat 10th Nov, a great chance to see what to expect, plus a great chance to train with Sensei Daniel and some of the other senior GKR instructors.

Wish I could still be attending and learning, unfortunately my elbows won't let me. But loved my time there.

We joined GKR at Duston dojo as a family, we were looking for an activity that we could do as a family that involved fitness and fun that we would all enjoy and we have found it! The Training is excellent and it is a friendly environment that makes you feel very welcome. I would highly recommend it and although I am only at the beginning of my Karate journey I am very much looking forward to furthering my training.
