On Friday, library volunteers took part in 'Safe Places Training' which was provided by Debbie Howard who is a Community Managed Library Training Officer from Leicestershire County Council.
If at any time you are feeling concerned about something, it could be something personal or something you need help and advice with, the library team can help you. Glen Hills Library, as a safe place will also offer help and support for those going through difficult or lonely times. We can offer advice on referral services or just offer a friendly face for you to share your troubles with.
I will be writing a piece with more information about our 'Safe Place' so you know exactly how we can help you in your time of need. In the mean time, if you'd like more information, you can direct message me or speak to a member of the library team.
