During the week, we made an announcement that we had some sad, but exciting news to share. Well here it is folks: Grandpa Lew's Trading Post on Sadlergate, Derby will be closing its doors. While the business in general remains in tact and we continue to have great relationships with our suppliers and collaborative partners it is a realistic and thought out decision that has bought us to this point. Due to reasons out of our control - to do with the requirements of a lengthy ...lease and impractical lease terms, we are securing the future of our brand which is also your brand, so we can serve you better in the future. This unfortunate turn though means we are able to readdress our offering, location and business strategy which has even meant we are looking at other properties not only in Derby and the surrounding area such as Nottinghamshire but also further afield to our capital city - London and the home counties. So please, keep with us and give us your feedback, and we look forward to seeing you in store in the last couple of weeks of trading on Sadlergate, Derby.
