Celebrating St Valentine's Day with a great big pan of sticky, glutenous, hot Scotch broth. Straight to his heart and dribbled romantically down the front of his sweatshirt. Love you, Bampy Bob.

My grandad, John Armstrong Tempest, drew dozens and dozens of pen & ink drawings of Durham Cathedral. I remember each of them being drawn on thick, cream parchment-like paper. This is the only remnant left that I know of He died around 1960 before I'd even started school. He was from Sherburn Hill.

My own design collar scarf. Three different genuine Harris Tweeds complimented with Liberty Print. This time pinks of the tweeds are matched with unicorn print for a touch of whimsy. The cotton backing stops the tweed from irritating the skin and the crossover design means it sits firmly and snugly.

Well I'm afraid I haven't actually been to Grannie Annie's but I'm certain her shop is a treat. Our 2016 holiday to Harris left an everlasting mark for its beauty, friendliness and peacefulness. My only souvenir apart from a stone was a bottle of Harris gin. Last week Annie posted a photo of some lovely mugs she was stocking and kindly sent me a couple. A decent size, a great shape they are a delight to drink from. Thank you so much Annie, I hope I didn't cause you too much bother.
