lovely young lady that took our order I am fussy what I eat meals where great lovely atmosphere the chef came and asked if everything was ok nothing to much trouble for them would recommend anyone to go there

Went to the Beer Festival. Managed to park in the car park. Great atmosphere, good live music, plenty of entertainment for the children. Plenty of bar staff serving, and plenty of people clearing glasses. Porto Loos provided outside, and were immaculate. Everyone was having a great time, the good weather helped too. Will def go to the next outdoor event. Well done to all involved.

We just popped in for a cheap and cheerful lunch.

After being told it's just ok, the staff and food proved otherwise. Our food was tasty, Hot and plentiful. The staff on the floor serving were polite; I have to say though the guys behind the bar almost cost them our custom.

Service was really good, lots of staff on for a Sunday and really friendly. Sunday roast was so lush and the food was piping hot, first time I have enjoyed a roast dinner eating out in a while, mashed potatoes were gorgeous, thick and smooth amazing.



I was stuffed but dessert menu looked really good, we stayed and let our food go down before then ordering dessert lol.



Now most places only give you a teaspoon serving of ice-cream to go with your pudding and so it always finishes way before your dessert, but not only did I get a good size portion of ice-cream with my banoffee pie......it was clotted cream ice-cream ����



Lovely way to end the weekend ���

I had fish and chips. It was fab. The fish was beautiful. Light batter yum. Great place to eat. Lovely staff. Great atmosphere

Had a great bank holiday again at The Corn Mill Pub. Great bands on all weekend!

Had a fantastic bank holiday, went in for the usual breakfast to start the day off and it was well cooked, hot and tasty and excellent value for money as it always is! Great day on Sunday with excellent bands and credit to all staff, at times it was 4 deep at the bar and the staff didn't stop working hard all day! They we're brilliant and kept smiling through all the pressure and rudeness that that received from customers!!! Great job Cornmill team and thanks for a great bank holiday weekend!!! 👍😀🥂.

A very tasty meal of Beef Lasange and panceta with ciabata and salad drizzled with a black pepper sauce that was tasty, the staff were friendly and very attentive will definitely return for a meal again.

The food was very good and we were tucking in in no time, excellent service and friendly staff.

Waited 10 minutes to get served even though staff were not doing anything, my son's hunters chicken was burnt and onion rings were rock solid. Yorkshire puddings were hard and my roast beef was mostly fat, we have never had a problem there before but we were disappointed this time I'm afraid.

The main reason I’m writing this review is to comment on the shocking size of the coffee! Tiny cups for £2.75 honestly you get a few sips I couldn’t believe it! Food was ok, staff were friendly enough. Signs everywhere advertising for more staff but there seemed to be staff everywhere �

Staff were rude, asked for more pineapple juice as the drink was really strong and the man that served me was rude. Had a club sandwich and asked for it with no tomatoes but they clearly had put them on and then picked them off when they realised that they had put them on instead of making one without.

Lamb shank fabulous, pork roast dinner roast potatoes 🥔 great pork full of fat and 🥕 still hard I had Italian ravioli with pesto sauce only 9 ravioli in the plate with no sauce at all £9.20 I rather pay more money but it works out £1.03 each raviola

Great for 14 year old to get served. Staff didn't ask for ID.

Kids walked away with wine and Stella. Several times.

With I knew about this pub when I was this age.

We come here often and there's always something wrong, this pub has really gone downhill. Ordered the club sandwich which came cold, waitress took it back to advise it was meant to be that cold.. cold toast �Spoke to the manager who took it back, next one came out piping hot but it had barely any chicken in. Gave me a refund after I asked as my friends had nearly finished theirs but whole thing was shocking! �

We come here regularly. We put up with the smell of urine, the ant infestation or never having any food "in stock" but today was something else. When my father finally spoke up he wasn't offered an apology and was given some spiel about problems with the apparent lack of understanding about "supply and demand" being down to new suppliers. Just excuse after excuse. Also tables are sticky, toilets are gross and one ladies cubicle has an open window by the staff smpking area. So you can listen to us pee and blow fag smoke in. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Sort it out or the pictures of your ant infestation are going to be sent to the council.
