Hi all, there will be a PGA meeting today to discuss the forthcoming Queens Diamond Jubilee on June 1st. It is intended that the children will have a street party, any parents interested in helping or with inspirational ideas will be warmly welcomed and rewarded with a cup of tea/coffee ;-) Location: Staff Room 2pm TODAY

It was fantastic last night to see Greenfields on the 6 O'clock news, the children were fantastic and possibly have some little tv reporters for the future 'well done'

Hope everyone has had an amazing Easter break and are raring to learn lots in this coming term. Will be great to catch up with you all tomorrow (Monday 16th April) :-)

Strips of raffle tickets can now be purchased for the chance to win lots of chocolate, ready for Easter. Each strip is £1

Mrs Sharneen Fletcher will be sorely missed, by everyone at Greenfields. She had worked and supported the school since September 2000. She was well known and loved by all. The school will be holding a collection in place of flowers to purchase a bench for the school grounds to be placed in her memory. If you wish to contribute to this please send it to the school in a sealed envelope.

2morrow there is mufti and there is no charge. Please remember that the school is finishing at 2.30pm. The new term starts on Wednesday 4th January 2012.

Thank you to the people that came to the Christmas Fayre, thank you for all your support.

Just a little reminder, don't forget to come to the Christmas Fayre at 2 o'clock. Hope to see u there, all the money raised will go back to the school funds.

Would like to give a huge thank you to all the children and staff for their contributions in the amazing performances of this year's Christmas plays. Can i also remind everyone that the school fete is this Friday @ 14:00 - 16:00 and all donations of toys, books and jumble will be gratefully received.

WELL DONE to all the children and staff for raising £138.23 for Children in Need.
Please complete and return the parent questionnaire by Monday 5th December.
The Christmas Dinner is on Wednesday 14th December, if you want your child to have the dinner, you need to let the office know asap. If you pay for dinners the Christmas Dinner will be £2.31. Your orders will have to be in no later than Monday 5th December.

We still need donations for our Christmas Fayre. We need clothing, books, toys, games, bric-a-brac and prizes for the raffle or tombola. Please send donations to the school office. We will also need cakes of the cake stall, but please only bring cakes in on the morning of Friday 9th december.

Don't forget it is a teacher training day on Monday so children return on Tuesday 1st November.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
A 29 year old kettering man has been arrested for activities in connection with communicating with children on facebook.
The man has been released on bail pending further enquires.
... The suspect is believed to have used bogus profiles in the names 'Claire Ann Smith' and 'Joe Smith'.
Any parents or carers of children who discover these profiles as 'friends' of their children, and do not recognise the name, should contact Northamptonshire Police on 03000 111 222, referencing incident 354 of 29 September.
