Grosvenor House Day Nursery And Pre-School

We are absolutely thrilled that our granddaughter is able to be in such a wonderful stimulating environment with such dedicated staff. The nursery is magical and we know Lily will be so happy there and certainly cared for.

My daughter is extremely happy here, she cannot wait to get in the doors! All the staff I've met have always been very friendly and they all seem very happy and of high standard. The setting is amazing. I'm just sad it wasn't open when my other two children were younger!

Love this place! Each time I drop off my boys, I feel like I want to spend some time there myself discovering and playing with the simple yet amazing little things (gems, marbles, stones, pieces of wood, sand, etc etc etc). The staff are amazing, always trying new pedagogic approaches! Also, most of them are educated to degree or even postgraduate level. Most importantly, they are always supportive and kind both to children and parents and attentive to parents' requests.

Also, the settling in went really well and I've received a lot of support from the staff.

The environment in nursery is also amazing: so calm and peaceful! The place is very spacious, light and not cluttered. I love the activities: different each day. My boys are bilingual, and they now confidently count to 20 in English and recognise many letters.

They also do some sport sessions (not regular I think, but rather like a master class). There is a forest school (we have't tried that yet, but sounds fantastic).

Every child has a key person and they have adult led activities and independent play time every day. The food is good. My boys actually had some salad there for the first time.

On the improvement side, I'd suggest just a couple of REALLY minor things: to offer some hot porridge oats for breakfast (I think at the moment it's just toast and margarine, real butter would be really good actually instead, and also they have some cereals with cold milk) and then also perhaps in the future a session or two per year for parents to advise on primary school applications would add an extra bonus.

Oh and they also organise a series of coffee events for parents and kids, Christmas party, and other events which is amazing!

I would like to say that this Nursery looks absolutely amazing, the thought and planning that's gone into it is amazing... Clearly with Children being at the heart of it. Gutted this nursery isn't closer to where we are otherwise I would have enrolled yesterday. It's going to be amazing.... If you haven't seen the nursery (but thinking about it) and met the FAB staff then it's a MUST! Katy

I was breath taken how beautiful the nursery looked today, on it's first day in the new building. What a perfect calm environment you have created for our lucky children. All of the staff are always so friendly & welcoming. It is a pleasure bringing my son here, and I always leave feeling happy and confident he will be very well looked after. Your extremely hard work is very evident, we can't thank you all enough.
