He set the format for regular feedback and made sure that he was available for discussion throughout the year. This is not an easy task given the circumstances that most tennis students finds themselves in e.g. away from home, constant pressure of training and having to constantly catch up on study whilst away on competition. Tom as a tutor has been an amazing teacher bringing out the best in my son instilling confidence with learning independently. Tom has a great understanding of young people and is very supportive and encouraging, he goes over and above as and when required along with stepping back encouraging my son to be more responsible with his learning. Along with being a tutor I would say that Tom is a mentor along with having fun and a laugh which I believe is very important with young people.
