We use traditional Himalayan spices, herbs and old Nepalese cooking style ( Royal Gurkhas of Nepal ) to bring out the original flavour plus medicinal use of food. Restaurant is located at St. Peters way/2 clerkson street Mansfield Ng18 1Bq. Train Station,Bus Station,Mansfield Town Centre, Mansfield Football Club,Tourist destination and Mansfield Distric Council are located on 2 to 5 minutes walking distance. We visited here last night and had a fabulous evening . The menu has a superb choice and is very reasonably priced . The food is cooked fresh to order so there is a little wait but I can assure you the wait is well worth it . Could not fault the food at all - delicious and served to the table lovely and hot . My sister who was visiting from Glasgow said it was one of the most authentic curries she's had in a long time so high prais...e indeed from a lady who loves a good curry . The service is second to none with very helpful and friendly waiting staff . It is also a nice touch that the chef comes out to ask if you're enjoying the food . As for the manager he went above and beyond for us on a very wet evening so thanks again for your kindness . We shall definitely return and shall be recommending you to our friends .

Wow, what a great place this is. This was our first visit but certainly won't be our last. We took relations from Lowestoft with us. They can be very critical but even they were amazed and were raving about how good it was. Freshly cooked food with masses of delicate flavours. 5 stars are not enough for the food at these premises. They are far, far better and deserve more. The staff were very pleasing and happy to have us as guests. These premises are at the side of Mansfield Ring Road with a free car park to the rear. The Gurkha (Nepalese) cuisine was unbelievably tasty and flavours are not killed off by too many chillies. There are meals with chillies if you want them, but try some of the meals with the Gurkha spices. This restaurant is a fantastic secret not yet known by many people in Mansfield. We wish this restaurant every success. We shall certainly be back.

We had an amazing meal here last night! I had one of the loveliest starters I think I have ever eaten. We were very keen to try Nepalese food and will definitely go back. Delicious food, very attentive polite staff.....we highly recommend this restaurant.

Was lovely, we came with all the family for my dads birthday. Food was great and they looked after us very well. Even a surprised cake was given as a birthday treat. Well worth the visit. 5/5*****

The food here is absolutely lovely!!! So fresh ad taisty. I would go as far to say it's the best cooked chicken I have her had! I highly reconnect the sweet chilli chicken or sweet chilli paneer to start and the mango curry was mouth watering. We will definitely be going back.. the food was well worth the wait!

Just been for our first meal at the gurkha. After reading the reviews I had very high hopes yet the evening i experienced exceeded this! I have never ate a curry so nice! The service was impeccable to match the quality and taste of the food.

So much choice of food even for vegetarians.

We came to celebrate my aunt's birthday late and were suprised with a cake! Absolutely amazing we will be returning.

Very friendly staff, good service, excellent food and even surprised us with 2 birthday cakes.

They even have gluten free options.

Had Nepalese food for the 1st time last night. Stunning! The goan fish curry was absolutely amazing. Huge chunks of fish,beautifully spiced. Gorgeous. Lovely friendly staff too. Will definitely eat here again. 10/10

Food was absolutely beautiful. So clean and fresh unlike many other restaurants. Presentation was that of any upper class restaurant.

Don’t be put off by the location or venue/ decor! We were close to leaving on arrival as it was quite brightly lit and didn’t seem inviting but as soon as we were greeted by the waitress everything changed.

Really worth a visit and a repeat visit! Tell your friends and family. Take some time to go through the menu as well and try something new.

Celebrated my birthday here with family and friends. We all had a wonderful night. First time visiting and will not be the last. We received a warm welcome and the staff looked after us well. The food was really tasty and the drinks kept flowing. Huge thanks to the staff for making it such a great night ���

Brought wifey here on date night.. The food was stunning... So fresh and how food that is based on a variety of spices should taste.. The service was excellent.. Even the chef himself came over and asked if everything was OK now that is how you do thing's.. Will definitely come back. Thank you for a very enjoyable meal.
