What a lovely meal we all had! All eleven of us went out for mothers day lunch, and it was perfection! Great food, great service!!

We have had the lamb shank twice now and both times it has been absolutely gorgeous!

The Half Moon is my favourite place to go out in Nottingham. Every member of staff is warm, welcoming and accommodating, so much so that you are made to feel part of their “family”. The owners ( and other staff) look after you and work very hard at seeing you have a good night. They have all turned this venue around and all credit to them all for making the Moon what it now is!

Me and my friend love the Sunday lunch here. We have never been disappointed, there is plenty of meat, fresh vegetables and massive Yorkshire puddings. Very friendly staff too. We always have a lovely time.

Me and my family had Sunday lunch at the moon today and was amazing yet again (our 5th time of eating there) . The staff couldn't do enough for us and the food was gorgeous �

Just come for a lovely Sunday roast for friends 80th birthday. Lovely friendly staff and fantastic proper home made roast dinners thank you

Just been to the kids Christmas party and had an amazing time, the kids loved it and they had fantastic entertainment and was very good value for money. All the staff were lovely and friendly and the fireworks were great. Would definitely recommend this place.

I love my Sunday dinners. There my favourite thing to eat. Here the Sunday beef roast was wonderful. The beef was very mouth watering. The mash and roast potatoes were both lovely and the veg were great. The crowning jewel was the giant Yorkshire pudding just magnificent. The half moon now have a regular for Sunday dinner. Thanks for the great food

I had fish, chips and mushy pea's while my partner had chicken and mushroom pie with mashed potato. The batter on my fish was a little greasy to my liking but I enjoyed the meal and will certainly be going back. My partner said she really enjoyed her meal especially the amount of chicken in the pie.

Food , drinks , company , disco , fabulous

Brilliant place for a drink and an amazing if not the best place for a Sunday roast so tasty I had the lamb shank and it was so tasty and just down and out the best Sunday roast with the best yorkshires and also amazing bar staff and the very very best and helpful landlord and landlady �

Been having a couple of fosters in here lately. Got to say I am converted, not been in for yrs & yrs. But warm welcome from staff. And as all say the Sunday Dinners look to die for. Always a clean plate from the dinners eating.

The other half has been in lunch time and the steak was also super.

Amazing food amazing staff and most of all I was sitting neax 2 radiator and it was lovely and hot talk about full blast it was all amazing Yorkshire pudding not normal just extra extra large brilliant food ��

Not been but would do if you had a decent vegan menu. �

My friends enjoy your food

But as a local vegan it is always a problem for us vegans

It wouldn’t be hard to do vegans as most supermarkets have a great selection of vegan foods
