Hammonds Pond Cafe

Well that's us all closed up for the winter months now. I would like to thank all our lovely customers for coming in to see us this season. I am sure I will bump into one or two of you when I am out with my dogs on the park. Don't forget, the Friends of Hammonds Pond will be having Santa visiting on the 9th December at the cafe. I will post more details nearer the time. Hope to see you all again in the spring, it will probably be March when we open up again, but I will keep you all updated on here for any other dates where we might be open over the winter. The leaves are starting to get their Autumn colours on the park. Thankfully, all the strong winds have left them for us to enjoy.
Hammond's Pond Cafe is open until the end of October, then we close for the winter months. Our last day this season will be Sunday 28th October.

New signs going up around the park. Don't worry if you forget your duck food.....we sell duck food from The Birds' Bistro for only 50p in the cafe.

Well done to the little girl who noticed the hedgehog wandering around outside the cafe today. She named him/her Spike. Spike was a little skinny and looking lost so he has gone to the wonderful Knoxwood Wildlife Rescue Trust to recover.

A big shout out for any books that you no longer want. Our charity bookcase is looking a bit low on books. Any donations are gratefully recieved. All proceeds will go to Eden Valley Hospice and the Jigsaw Appeal. Thank you x

I came recently with my niece for a play in the sun. We decided to get an ice cream as it was really warm. The lady who served us was so lovely. She was helpful and polite and very cheerful, she was lovely with my niece too.

Came here yesterday and had a couple of ice creams- which are amazing! Service was great by a lovely friendly lady. Will def return �
