"What's love got to with it?" Erm, well not a lot it would seem! Despite spoiling 'Tina' with cruises to far off climes, festival frolics and taking her up, and indeed down many a Derbyshire Dale, 'Tina' has gone and left me! Gone, gone, off with some fancy Dan Osteopath from Oxfordshire!!! I really am a little bit sad but also happy, 'Tina' couldn't have picked a nicer chap than Oliver Cox to run off with! I am pretty sure Tina, Oliver and his lovely family will enjoy a most excellent adventure together. x

Not too sure if I should be doing this but up for sale goes our 'Tina', (Hey, it's a Turner thing!!). This van has been ace, taking us on most excellent adventures including a recent 4 week trip to Northern Spain where there definately 'aint no mountain high enough' for our Tina, even in the 'Picos de Europa', taking it all in her leisurely stride!! She is a sexy beast of a van, starts first time every time, uses no oil, no water, and comes with absolutely everything you'd ...ever need in a camper - sleeps 6, heating, hot and cold water, toilet, shower, kitchen and bathroom sink, fridge, x2 radio/cd/usb, satelite, solar panel, roof box, cycle rack, motorbike rack etc, etc!!! It's had a bit of a makeover with new Upholstery in the rear not stinky original stuff, new dash and sound insulation, new door cards and new cab carpet. Mechanically we've fitted a new radiator, new Bosch battery, re set the throttle and cleaned out the fuel tank filter. She's a 1990, 2.9 diesel, manual gearbox, 155,178 km (96,000 mile) on the clock and MOT'd until 29 March 2018. A real beauty and all yours for £16,000!

SOLD! Dora's gone exploring north of the border! Raiders flew down from Edinburgh to East Midlands Airport, snaffled their prize, turned and headed for the hills! It was great to meet John and Chris Houston, I hope you and your families have lots of fun with your new Hymer.
We’ve been working away on this old Hymer B544 (Dora!) for quite a while now and I am glad to say she’s finally ready for a new home and fun adventures! Old ‘Dora’ has been reborn courtesy of a Happy Camper ‘pimp over’, gone is the ‘retirement home’ look of the tired old interior, no more ‘dead dog’ dashboard, brown carpet and stinky old upholstery, it’s all been replaced with a very groovy, cunningly crafted, retro styled interior!
A brilliant van for a young family, sleeps 5, 5 seat belts, all the usual Hymer refinements – toilet, shower, hot and cold running water, gas hob, big fridge, heater, wind out awning, bike rack, need I go on? An ace van, lots of new parts fitted including brake overhaul, engine and gearbox mounts, drive shaft, x 2 batteries, x2 sky lights, long MOT and new gas safety certificate. Price £12,000.

Badger's gone!!! It was with very heavy hearts that my family waved goodbye to Badger, our all time favourite 'Glamper'. The good news is that he's found a great new home with the Watson family here in Nottingham, and if they have half as much fun with him as we did then they are sure to have a blast!! Thanks to Steve and Hazel, I hope you, Jessica and Badger share many happy times together. x

Classic 'Hymer' for Christmas anyone? Very reluctant sale of my much loved & trusted travel companion for the past 3 1/2 years. Only for sale because my family is about to get bigger (eeeeekkk!) and sadly 'Badger' won't sleep us all!
My most favouritist camper ever! He's taken us to numerous festivals up and down the country, beautiful hidden gems in the UK, and for the last 2 years on unforgettable road trips down through France and into Northern Spain. He did all this... without ever once complaing, a beast of a van and I will be very sad to see him go.
'Badger is the ultimate 'glamper', more of a hotel on wheels than a camper. Comes with all mod cons - 3 burner hob (with extraction), big fridge (just serviced) sink with hot and cold running water courtesy of the gas boiler. Bathroom with toilet, sink and separate shower. Gas heater and blown warm air heating should you need it - he's a fully winterised van with great insulation. For entertainment we have satellite TV with DVD/USB to watch your favourite films, and a great sounding CD/stereo with USB for your tunes. Solar panel which keeps your leisure battery (new) topped up, carbon monoxide alarm, loads of storage, tow bar, x4 seat belts, sleeps 4, all windows and vents have mozzy nets and black out blinds.
'Badger' is based on a Citroen C25, 2.5 turbo diesel, plenty of power and cruises at 65 -70 easy, returns a comfortable 30 MPG. Five speed gearbox which changes easily. Power steering and air ride suspension. First registered in 1994 and has now completed 193,000 km (120,000 miles). 12 months MOT (passed yesterday with no advisories) and will come with a new gas safety certificate for peace of mind.
All of this could be in your Christmas stocking for a bargain £10,500. Ho, ho, ho and happy adventures in 2017? x

Make your VW Bus smile again by replacing the knackered old rusty front face with a nice new shiny one ! What you will need - angle grinder, welder, drill, chisel, hammer, clamps, a couple of bits of square bar, rust treatment ('Jenolite') and etch primer. Combine with lots of hard work, patience, skill, bad language and bloody knuckles, and 'hey presto', your bus will look a million times better! Hmmm, on second thoughts it might be best just to consult the experts at Happy Camper!
Back at work today after a fabulous 2,500 mile round trip with the family down to the Bay of Biscay, in 'Badger', our Hymer. On our travels we hooked up with friends and Happy Camper customers, Marcus and Rachel Tams, after having no luck with campsites we discovered this beautiful spot under the trees by Lac Biscarrose, total cost £0. School holidays in France absolutely FREE, love my campervan!
Volkswagen T5, 'high top', Happy Camper style! Having not converted one of these vans before, when we were commissioned by Ben & Karen Kingston-Hughes to turn their high top panel van into a camper we weren't quite sure what to think, but 'WOW,' what a result, we are all thrilled with the transformation! The camper comes fully loaded with all mod cons - hob, sink with running water, grill, heater, toilet, wind out awning, swivel front seats, groovy updated stereo head unit with reversing camera, and we all love how the units and upholstery have turned out. Thanks to Ben and Karen for being such great customers and I hope you, the kids, and 'Womble' (crazy name!!!), enjoy many memorable adventures together.
SOLD to the lovely Wilshaw family from Stoke on Trent. We are very proud of our restoration work that turned this Australian import into a real beauty. Thanks to Mike & Sarah, glad the camper has gone back to my home town and I hope 'Betty' brings you and the kids many happy adventures.
SOLD to a Swiss living in Bristol - Happy Camper International once again serving the European Community! We absolutely loved 'Jimmy' (it's a 'White' thing!), sad to see him go but at the same time glad he'd found a great new owner in aerospace engineer, Rafael Heeb.
