loved it, well organised with so many people. The marshalls were great and cheered us on all the way, thank you for another well organised event, same again next year.
Well what can I say about this one of a kind event. The rumours are true, it really is one of the toughest races you will ever encounter. People talk about Hardwick Hill, which would test Froome and Co' in the Tour De France, however straight after you have the climb back up to Pilsley, which simply destroys your legs. Once at the top though it's a fantastic downhill final mile and when you get back to Pilsely literally the whole village is lining the streets and make you feel very special as you cross the finish line. I placed 20th and had nobody else around me, but as I crossed the line the crowd made me feel like I had won.
The support throughout is amazing, the course is brutal but combined they give you a huge sense of pride and accomplishment.
To the organisers I commend you, to the course I bow down to you, to the people of Pilsley I salute you! 10/10

This was my first 10K and after being a spectator for a number years I decided to tackle the Hardwick Hill myself. Yes it's a tough one but the support received by fellow runners, stewards & the local spectators got me through it. Amazing atmosphere, well run event. Great job Pilsley!!
Thank you all. See you next year
The support from all the local people was amazing. Smiled pretty much all the way round
Scenic road race with some tough hills. Great challenge and well organised event.
Ive done thus race over the years and never tire of it. Been lucky to win vets categories over time and the village really make it feel special. Thank you Pilsley people North Derbyshire running club and Cyril Leason the instigator of this great race!
Great run. Very well supported by the locals. Great Marshalls, Volunteers and local Constabulary. Loved it ! See you next year. ❤
Fantastic local race and well organised
Brilliantly organised and the people of pilsley were fantastic - great support on route..
Tough Course but loved it!
Brilliant. So much fun. Road racing isn't really my thing (I prefer the trails) but there was a fantastic atmosphere with it seemed like the whole Pilsley on the streets cheering us on. Challenging and scenic course, friendly marshals, fab finishers' T-shirt, can't find a thing to fault. See you next year.
Awesome race! great support from marshals and locals will be back!
Amazing race which was well organised and supported!! It was a joy to run even the dreaded hill . Would recommend it and will def be back next year
Absolutely loved this race.Very tough but support was fantastic all the volunteers need a round of applause so supportive what would we do without them.Great race lovely atmosphere all the locals made us feel special thanks to all .
Absolutely fab loved it the support was amazing people in their gardens cheering and clapping and even a cool down on way to finish via a couple kids with water guns and a hose pipe definitely reccomend to everyone !
Tough hilly race, well organised and supported...agree with others about the opportunity for women performing well to get a medal (45 men 5 women)
