Come and see Sheep Shearer Mike in action!
When the weather gets warmer, it’s a bit too hot for our sheep to be wearing their winter coats!
Sheep Shearer Mike will be on hand to make sure that the girls are all comfortable for the summer! He will shear the sheep of their fleeces, explaining the process and how the wool and lanolin (a waxy substance, which protects the wool and skin) can be used afterwards and answer any questions that you may have.
... If you ask him nicely he might even let you take a bit of fleece home!
You can buy your tickets online, at least 24 hours in advance for our lowest prices!

User

Went with my friend and her Niece and we loved it! Can tell the animals are well looked after and the staff were lovely! A really nice day out

User

We visited today and my (nearly) 3 year old absolutely loved the farm. All staff were very friendly and helpful! It is really good that they allow you to pet the rabbits and guini pigs and the ride on the tractor was great! We will be returning, thanks for a great day!

User

We visited today and had a great day! Loads for the kids to do, great meals and we got to watch a beautiful mummy goat give birth to a perfect baby goat! Absolutely Amazing! The staff there are really wonderful and knowledgable too! We will definitely be back!

User

We loved it!! A group of us attended on a baby and toddler morning and we all had great fun. A relaxed, no rush walk around the farm. Great value as all our little ones are under 1. The highlight being a cuddle with a 1 day old piglet Lovely complementary coffee too. We can’t wait to go again never mind the babies

User

We have a caravan close by and enjoy coming here, everywhere is super clean and the entry price is brilliant for the amount of things here to do, everything is lovely and its a great day out, staff are very welcoming and helpful! Only slight critisism is the food price, the burgers are like 5 pound + for just a burger and tiny salad, it tastes great tho but maybe a slightly more affordable option woulf make it better for some families x

User

Visited today for the first time and very impressed! Our two children aged 4 and 2 were entertained for the whole afternoon tractor ride, petting animals, feeding animals, taking part in the interactive sessions and playing on the playground to name a few! The entry price is very reasonable for the amount of things there are to do! Everything was so clean, the staff were friendly and the animals looked so well looked after. A lovely find and would like to come back another time, would really recommend for anyone visiting the area.

User

Visited last week with my daughter whilst on holiday, would highly recommend this as a great day out to anyone in the area. Loads to do, very friendly & informative staff & great value for money.

User

Took my 3 grandkids absolutely brilliant they loved every minute of their visit and we’ll definitely be coming here again can’t recommend this place highly enough great place plenty to do and great staff

User

My self my partner and our 2 year old little girl came here today on our hoilday with my uncle and antie it was the biggest highlight of our hoilday the staff couldn't be any more helpful and my little girl wanted to go on the tractor which had finish , the gentleman who had been driving round in it all had finished he's shift and kindly took us around in it just so my daughter was not upset she was over the moon and we would definitely come back again so thankyou for a lovely day x

User

Loved the variety of animals and that they all had their own little areas. Would advise to drive if not the bus service does stop just down the road from it. Shame it was such a windy day for us as the play park would of been good. Indoor play ideal for bad weather. My son loved looking at the animals.

User

Local to Hardys and it's our 'go to' activity. Our son loves the tractor ride and ride on horses. The hands on activities are great and staff are very welcoming and great with the kids

User

It was our second time visiting Hardy's animal farm and it really is a wonderful place full of things to see and do , the people that work there are really kind and helpful and always make sure your little ones get a chance to hold the animals.

I would 100 per cent recommend this place a visit as a family or a couple either way your in for a treat.

A hidden gem away from all the hussle , we can't wait to come back again soon.

Thank you for having us

User

Hardys farm is suitable for all ages. I’ve taken my grandchildren to hardys farm and they love to touch the animals. They also love to ride on the tractor rides. There’s an indoor play area for the children, and a cafe that does drinks and food.

User

Had a lovely couple of hours here today . Lovely & clean , great access for our boys wheelchairs .

Didn’t arrive til later on so missed the petting of animals & tractor rides , but a lovely lady put a tractor ride on for the boys & and let them pet the rabbits too . Thank you so much , will definitely be back , will get there earlier to make a day of it next time . Xx

User

Had a fabulous day yesterday. So much to do, all the animals seem so happy and healthy. Our little boy loved it all as did we. Lots of interaction with the animals, tractor ride and lots to play on. The food is great too, lovely hot and fresh. Highly recommend and great value for money.

User

Amazing day out for the kids !! The farm is huge, loads of animals ! you can pet and feed the baby goats, outside play area is awsome, the indoor play area is also fantastic! caffe food is really nice but slightly over priced ! 30 pounds for a family of 4, definitely worth it !

User

Our 4 year old boy loves animals so we have visited quite a few farms. This is one of the better ones but my only gripe would be paying the same price for a child as an adult. £24 for 3 of us plus food and drinks, pound for the diggers and tractors ECT then toys out of the ridiculously expensive gift shop can make it a dear day out

User

It would be helpful if you mention you have to book tickets the day before you plan to visit to get the reduced price!!! When we arrived we were offered the animal feed but given no other information verbally about the farm. The outdoor tractor had no pricing information anywhere and no-one to ask so had to guess the price. The farm itself is good value for money just unfortunate for us the weather was awful. Would return at some point.

User

Door price is £6.50 online or £8 at the door. Children's indoor play area rather disgusting with tables not cleared, children who had wet themselves climbing on the equipment and shuffling along on their wet bums made me quickly remove my children from the area. Even after I spoke to a member of staff nothing was said to the parents or cleaned. We won't be rushing back to visit.
