Yet again you made my visit special. Even put the yellows balloon on our table at my little grand daughters request. Easter colouring pages and the orange juice in her own little teapot she loved it. She ate well and enjoyed everything. Her mum and I also had lovely food. Looking forward to another visit.

Well on the 10th of June I had my Sisters surprise baby shower here it was amazing the staff couldn’t do enough for you would highly recommend x

We went to Harper and fitch yesterday as a half term treat with my mummy friends. We were accompanied by our three 4 year old boys, one 19month old and one 16 week old baby. We had afternoon tea and it was such a wonderful experience. The children loved the milkshake filled teapots and the staff were all very accommodating, offering colouring books and pencils as entertainment for the children whilst they waited. A truly wonderful experience and we can't wait to return. Xx

This tea room is so worth a visit, 100% customer service from the minute you walk in the door. I advise that you book a table as they get really busy at times. I went for my birthday with my mum, we both had a pot of tea, mum had carrot soup, I had tuna sandwiches. The food if lovely, as its freshly made very tasty too, the service is great too. My mum mentioned that it was my birthday and they came out with a small cake and all sang happy birthday to me. Cannot wait to go again.

The lady who owns was lovely really helpful & went above & beyond for me 5* recommend to anybody! A lovely little quaint shop!! X

Thank you so much for a lovely lunch for Mothers Day. I have several intolerances and was looked after so well, had to bring my cakes home as was so full. Beautiful decor, lovely staff and Doris Day singing in the background what more could you ask for x x x

Stumbled upon Harpur & Finch today totally by chance as haven’t been to Ilkeston for years and really didn’t know what was around these days! But fancying a last minute afternoon tea after going to the registry office and getting officially married today, I had a quick google search... pictures looked amazing, called up had a very welcoming friendly chat with the lady on the phone to be sat there 5 minutes later enjoying a wonderful setting and choosing from the amazing sand which combinations on offer! Very accommodating, made food to order as the parents are very fussy who was with us, and I have to say it was definitely the best afternoon tea we all have ever had!!! To top off the incredible food and service (and friendly chats with lots of other customers too - it was such a nice environment to be in!) as a lady found out by accident that we had just got married they bought a card and lovely little ornament over to us to congratulate us, which was just the nicest gesture ever! Spent some money in the shop after too, definitely could’ve spent more as they had so much to look at that is different from your normal shops. 100% will be returning to both shop and cafe. Thank you so much to all of you who made our marriage day extra special �� top service! Xx

One of the best vegan afternoon teas I have ever had!!! Oat clotted cream with jam and a home made scone, choc cake, fresh fruit in flavoured yoghurt, hummus and dippy veg, two types of sandwich incl. pate + vegan cheese and pickle. Super range of teas also! ����

My granddaughter had a tea party to celebrate her 7th birthday, all girls and they loved it! The lovely staff couldn't do enough for you. Gluten free catered for. Old fashioned party games. Individual teapots so they could pour their own drinks hot chocolate etc and regularly topped up. Altogether a lovely experience.

Nothing was too much Trouble and all the staff turn out to sing happy birthday and present the birthday girl with her birthday cake.

My first visit to the tearoooms with my friend and our 8 and 9 year olds. Lovely relaxing and very charming atmosphere. I had a scrumptious cream tea and my daughter had the childs sandwich plate complete with strawberry milkshake in a teapot. Definitely come again such a pleasant experience and lovely staff x

My daughter had her 8th birthday party hear and it was everything and more than I thought it would be. She was made to feel like a propper little lady by the amazing staff. The party food was great and her friends left saying it was the best party they had been to so far. Thank you so much for giving her the best party experience so far...👍

I had afternoon tea here for my birthday on July 2nd 2018. I just want to say a big massive thank you to all the staff there you did a amazing job on the food. The table was decorated really nice and my party of 11 all loved it. So thank you again and keep up the good work

Enjoyed our afternoon tea today at harpur and finch , was so fresh and filling , the team of staff so welcoming ,well worth a visit if you have never been.

Came today with my daughter and we both loved it . Beautiful little gift shop and the food was delicious. The staff was so polite especially the man that brought the food out he checked we was ok for everything we needed . We will definitely return �
