Went for lunch yesterday I had the steak with sweet potato fries and it was lovely and cooked to how I asked.

My wife had the vegetarian bean burger with sweet potato fries and she said that was lovely.

We had our salad as well when we 1st got there service was fantastic and the young lady who was our waitress was very polite and professional.

Went for breakfast Friday 29th December. Young guy served us.. nice change to go somewhere And have such great service.. and the breakfast was excellent!

User

We were welcomed by a lovely waitress who a knowledged our special needs daughter and took a request for custard with out hesitation. The food was brilliant for us on a slimming world, low fat, lots of veggies. Really healthy.

We've been many times before and waited ages/ had over cooked food/ all that the others have complained about but yesterday was brilliant.

Happy staff= happy customers. X

We have eaten at the Harvester a number of times over the last few weeks. I have to say that the service has been excellent on most occasions and the new menu is great. Lots of variety. I had the sea bass yesterday and it was delicious, couldn't fault it at all.

User

We had a fabulous time at breakfast with santa today. My son has special needs and when we arrived he realised it was the place where he has had ice cream before, so despite being breakfast time he needed to have ice cream again! The staff put the machine on do r him and bought it out as soon as it was ready. Thank you for preventing a huge meltdown! Nice food and good service. Well done.

User

I went to Harvester for breakfast choosing the “all in” option. My food was freshly cooked to order and delivered piping hot to my table by Sophie (a very friendly, efficient and helpful young lady). The unlimited coffee and orange juice were excellent and I can thoroughly recommend breakfasting at Harvester! Excellent service and value.

User

I have never booked to go and only once had to wait 10mins for a table. I do have the same meal everytime but love the smoky ketchup that comes with it. The only little thing i can bad is they need to keep an eye on when things need filling up on the salad bar.

User

20 minutes to take our breakfast order and a further 30 minutes to bring the food. It wasn't particularly busy but there appeared to be no structure in place. Lipstick on the coffee mug and very slow to top up the fruit juice and bread. First visit in a year after poor service and nothing has changed. Won't be back again!

User

Umm having returned to this restutant having a break for about 1 year after a really bad experience..and very poor quality food, we went back Saturday night...had to wait about 40 mins for a table however the service was good and happy to say the experience and food was much better..finally good to see promotions like kids eat for 1 pound and the odeon cinema have a 20 percent discount if you take your old ticket in...worth having.. Finally good to see they got rid of those awful metal bowls we had to eat from last time..

User

Normally good food but the service the last couple of times in regards to getting our food orders right has been terrible once fair enough but it's become a regular thing unfortunately staff are polite but food never seems to be what we order... 3 attempts to get the breakfast right this morning, no juice or toast at the continental breakfast either .....

User

Hi the salad is good as always but the menu choice unless you want chicken leaves little to be desired. My husband had piri piri beef strips I had duck. They were not beef strips and whilst the piri piri was nice the beef was very dry. The duck was chewy and the skin was not crispy just covered in sauce which did not flavour the duck. The beans were cold and chewy. Best bit was the sweet potato fries but it did not go together well on the plate. Perhaps it was a bad choice of what to eat. Staff were lovely however, but it will be a long time before we go again.

User

We went for the unlimited breakfast. Fast service and plenty of choice. Originally rated 5*

We were so happy with our breakfast experience,we went for a meal as a family with our 2 year old son.

Greeted and asked for a table for the 3 of us. Could see 3 empty tables in the immediate vicinity of the entrance that would be suitable. Yet told minimum 25 minute wait. So we have left and won't be trying again as a family. Can only assume this is to get more income from drinks at the bar however I'm sure your customers wouldn't appreciate the hangry toddler moans! Very disappointed.

User

We normally have simply chicken with garlic mash and peas which we always found exceedingly nice but this time we were told simply chicken and it was a baked potato I asked if I could have mash they said yes but it wouldn't be garlic mash I said fine then when the bill came I was charged 59p for swap in baked potato for mash potato also the vegetables were not cooked

User

Service was good nice restaurant

But the food was bad. You seriously need a new chef.

Potato skins came out overcooked with no dip

Burger was dry like it had been sat for a while

Chips were recooked

Not happy with the new menu set up. There's no selection.

It just seems very basic

And I to top it all off the card payment machines didn't work and they took double money out. So a bit annoyed about that.

Not a good experience I won't be back.

User

Went to the harvester the other day for what I remembered previously to be a superb English breakfast. Was approached at first by a very rude waitress to then be served cold food, served poached eggs that were far from poached and to put the cherry on top of a shite cake told there were NO mushrooms.

However the young waitress that took over (Kayleigh) was very pleasant and despite our rubbish experience she made it much better by serving with a smile & a friendly manner.

My friends and I won't be returning anytime soon, and next time will be going to Asda.

User

We ordered our food and waited. And waited. And waited. Then got suspicious that a table who had arrived and ordered after us got their food. On querying the waiter he sheepishly admitted that as he had used pen and paper rather than the tablet he had "forgot" to put our order through! Fab so we had had a rather hungry 2 year old wondering where her dinner was. When the food arrived it was clear it had been rushed, the steak my husband ordered was under done and my vegetables clearly just shoved in a microwave. The waiter knocked my meal cost off the final bill however we will NOT be going back to Kettering Harvester. Absolute shambles.

User

We have just left here, the service was incredibly slow and poor, the dirty dishes were not cleared until just before the desserts arrived. Our desserts arrived (ice cream sundae) half melted dripping all over the waitresses hand. Every time I asked the waitress for a drink or the bill it was if It was a personal attack met with a dirty look. I will not be taking my family to harvester again

User

NEVER again.

The waitress was the only good thing about the place.

A long wait followed by being seated at a table that was empty when we had walked in half hour previously and nobody had sat at since. It was still dirty and we had to ask for replacement cutlery as it was filthy.

Meals arrived pretty quickly but mine was cold, the chips were freezing and tasted over cooked, I'd ordered half a chicken but was told they'd run out so I was going to have a chicken breast, it was half the size of a chicken breast and burnt.

The children all ordered burgers, one of which we had to send back as it was rock hard and burnt to a crisp.

My partner had the pulled pork burger and said it tasted "watery."

Pasta in the salad bar was bland and tasteless as was the potato salad and beetroot.

When the bill came, I was still being charged for half a chicken despite not having anything near it. Granted, it was a cheap meal we expected better than this.

Wouldn't come again or recommend it.

User

Every time I have been here we have had to wait for a table even though the restaurant doesn't appear to have many tables of diners. Last week was no different, over 40 minute wait (table for 2) to be seated at nearly 9pm. Salad bar was literally the dregs, brown lettuce, mushy tomatoes etc! The main meal was mediocre at best. We could then have actually walked out without paying as the waitress brought the bill and was never seen again! Considering the time and the fact there was only a few tables eating the staff weren't attentive. Such a shame as I have been to over harvesters and had a great meal.
