Just back from an appointment with Jess at Oakwood, and she’s done a beautiful job; this is the second time she has done my cut and colour and my hair looks great. Jess really listens and takes on board what I want and so I end up with a result that I’m really pleased with ��� .

Jess at the Oakwood salon did my 4 year old daughter's hair today. She was very patient, quick and did a lovely job on an impatient little girl! She even did her a lovely french plait. Would highly recommend her. Also thank you to the guy who made my daughter a wonderful hot chocolate, she was delighted! We will be coming back!

I’ve had my hair done by Jess at Harvey Luke a few times now and I’m always really happy with it! Jess is lovely & friendly and always does what I want with my hair, but will advise me if she thinks it could be done differently or products to help improve the condition. I’ve flitted between hairdressers for a while because I’ve never found one that I’m fully comfortable with but Jess always does such a good job and is so reasonably priced! Definitely found my permanent hairdresser �

I’ve been a client of Harvey Luke’s for some years now and the reason why I’ve stayed as long as I have is down to several reasons:



> there’s always a warm and friendly welcome as soon as you enter the salon

>I feel instantly relaxed and love my ‘me time’

>I get an excellent service where we discuss a plan and then decide that the salon were right in the first place....I should know better by now!

> all staff are extremely professional and genuinely listen to you (please refer to the comment above�) �

I've been coming to Harvey Luke (and Fliss in particular) for something like 4/5 years now. I have very stubborn, very curly hair which is a nightmare to get cut right! Fliss does it perfect every time :) The staff are always really friendly and all remember that I'm deaf and always face me when we're nattering so I can lipread.



My colours always look amazing too (I have normal blonde highlights in the main, and streaks of unnatural colours at the front).

I'm a regular at Harvey Luke in Chellaston but today's experience has by far been my best. Ella has done the most beautiful Balyage for me today and I'm so pleased with it. Not only am I impressed with the job well done on my hair, I'd also like to thank the whole team for letting me bring along my two year old son. Everyone engaged with us both and I've never felt so relaxed! Thankyou all so much and especially to Ella for getting the most perfect results for me!!

I visited the salon today for the first time! I was welcomed by a lovely lady on reception, very polite and friendly, I was a little nervous as I was about to have a complete new look 8-9 inches cut off my hair, when I met my hairdresser jess, she made me feel very welcome, very polite and friendly, she has made a fabulous job of my hair and I love it, I'm looking forward to coming back for a bit of colour!! Thanks again jess!!!! � � � �

I moved to Derby from the North East in April 2017. When it got to October time I was in need of a good hair salon. I was referred to Harvey Luke Oakwood by a work colleague, she said they were really friendly and good at their job. I called in and made an appointment with Jess to cut my hair and colour my daughter’s hair. We’ve never looked back and go every 6 weeks or so to keep our hair in check. A very professional business with lovely staff, highly recommended.

I have struggled to find a hairdresser that I am happy with for years, Natalie at Harvey Luke was recommended to me by a friend who has fabulous hair. My hair took a hammering after the birth of my second baby earlier this year and I haven't been happy with the way it looks or feels (resorted to wearing a hat all the time), that is until today. My hair looks and feels fabulous. I couldn't be happier.

The service was fantastic, Nat was brilliant and I couldn't recommend highly enough. Already booked my next two appointments. 5 star plus.

Kirsty does a great job with my hair she know what I like and I would like to thank her for understanding at the last minute when I have to cancel my appointment . I would recommend people to Harvey Luke the girls are professionals and know what they are doing .

I have been going for years now, use to live opposite so was really handy and i have recently moved and still go never been to a salon where you feel at ease, looked after, all the staff are lovely, all do a very good job i am really pleased with my hair cut and colour done by Jess thankyou so much, and believe me i have alot of hair to tackle � see you all again soon! I had my hair coloured and restyled yesterday by Jess at Oakwood. I had been looking for somewhere local to go and get my hair done, Jess was amazing really helpful with helping me decide what I wanted doing and I loved the results! My hair looks and feels great, she was very friendly and made me feel really comfortable, I would highly recommended going here! Especially having your hair done by Jess

I had an appointment at oakwood today and Jess was amazing, my hair somewhat needed some tlc and that's what it had and more. I would highly recommended here if you want something different and creative. I can't wait to book a colour in next. Everyone is so lovely and they really look after you!

Just back from an appointment with Jess at Oakwood, and she’s done a beautiful job; this is the second time she has done my cut and colour and my hair looks great. Jess really listens and takes on board what I want and so I end up with a result that I’m really pleased with ��� .

Jess at the Oakwood salon did my 4 year old daughter's hair today. She was very patient, quick and did a lovely job on an impatient little girl! She even did her a lovely french plait. Would highly recommend her. Also thank you to the guy who made my daughter a wonderful hot chocolate, she was delighted! We will be coming back!

I’ve had my hair done by Jess at Harvey Luke a few times now and I’m always really happy with it! Jess is lovely & friendly and always does what I want with my hair, but will advise me if she thinks it could be done differently or products to help improve the condition. I’ve flitted between hairdressers for a while because I’ve never found one that I’m fully comfortable with but Jess always does such a good job and is so reasonably priced! Definitely found my permanent hairdresser �

I’ve been a client of Harvey Luke’s for some years now and the reason why I’ve stayed as long as I have is down to several reasons:

>I feel instantly relaxed and love my ‘me time’

>I get an excellent service where we discuss a plan and then decide that the salon were right in the first place....I should know better by now!

I've been coming to Harvey Luke (and Fliss in particular) for something like 4/5 years now. I have very stubborn, very curly hair which is a nightmare to get cut right! Fliss does it perfect every time :) The staff are always really friendly and all remember that I'm deaf and always face me when we're nattering so I can lipread.



My colours always look amazing too (I have normal blonde highlights in the main, and streaks of unnatural colours at the front).

I'm a regular at Harvey Luke in Chellaston but today's experience has by far been my best. Ella has done the most beautiful Balyage for me today and I'm so pleased with it. Not only am I impressed with the job well done on my hair, I'd also like to thank the whole team for letting me bring along my two year old son. Everyone engaged with us both and I've never felt so relaxed! Thankyou all so much and especially to Ella for getting the most perfect results for me!!

I visited the salon today for the first time! I was welcomed by a lovely lady on reception, very polite and friendly, I was a little nervous as I was about to have a complete new look 8-9 inches cut off my hair, when I met my hairdresser jess, she made me feel very welcome, very polite and friendly, she has made a fabulous job of my hair and I love it, I'm looking forward to coming back for a bit of colour!! I moved to Derby from the North East in April 2017. When it got to October time I was in need of a good hair salon. I was referred to Harvey Luke Oakwood by a work colleague, she said they were really friendly and good at their job. I called in and made an appointment with Jess to cut my hair and colour my daughter’s hair. We’ve never looked back and go every 6 weeks or so to keep our hair in check. A very professional business with lovely staff, highly recommended.

I have struggled to find a hairdresser that I am happy with for years, Natalie at Harvey Luke was recommended to me by a friend who has fabulous hair. My hair took a hammering after the birth of my second baby earlier this year and I haven't been happy with the way it looks or feels (resorted to wearing a hat all the time), that is until today. My hair looks and feels fabulous. I couldn't be happier.

The service was fantastic, Nat was brilliant and I couldn't recommend highly enough. Already booked my next two appointments. 5 star plus.

I have been going to Harvey Luke for a long time now the staff are all lovely very welcoming have a laugh and chat very relaxed atmosphere but professional too . Kirsty does a great job with my hair she know what I like and I would like to thank her for understanding at the last minute when I have to cancel my appointment . I would recommend people to Harvey Luke the girls are professionals and know what they are doing .

I have been going for years now, use to live opposite so was really handy and i have recently moved and still go never been to a salon where you feel at ease, looked after, all the staff are lovely, all do a very good job i am really pleased with my hair cut and colour done by Jess thankyou so much, and believe me i have alot of hair to tackle � see you all again soon! I had my hair coloured and restyled yesterday by Jess at Oakwood. I had been looking for somewhere local to go and get my hair done, Jess was amazing really helpful with helping me decide what I wanted doing and I loved the results! My hair looks and feels great, she was very friendly and made me feel really comfortable, I would highly recommended going here! Especially having your hair done by Jess

I had an appointment at oakwood today and Jess was amazing, my hair somewhat needed some tlc and that's what it had and more. I would highly recommended here if you want something different and creative. I can't wait to book a colour in next. Everyone is so lovely and they really look after you!

Booked an appointment at the Chellaston Harvey Luke's when I moved back to the area last year and I've been going back there ever since, absolutely fantastic! Colour and style comes out lovely everytime, the staff are all really nice and the prices are very reasonable. Sam especially does an excellent job. Highly recommend to anyone.
