great place, just discovered it last summer as we are new to the area. keep going back!

Went to hawgrip today and took my eldest daughter for her first visit she loved it a real eye opener for her to see a proper nursery and not a (garden centre) IвАЩve been using hawgrip for over 15 years all i would ask is that you donвАЩt change to much i donвАЩt want to buy smelly candles and sweets and ornaments and yes a small coffee shop wouldnвАЩt go a miss but wouldnвАЩt want a huge restaurant like many garden centres its all about the plants for me keep up the good work.

We love Hawgrips and have been using it for over 20 years. It has excellent plants at very reasonable prices. The fact that Palmers have taken over will make no difference to this Nursery as it is an entirely separate venture that will continue to work in the same way it always has. We also go to Palmers regularly as they sometimes have different varieties and we enjoy a coffee and browse. I think we're very lucky to have two such lovely options in this area, depending on what you're looking for. Keep up the good work.

I posted a review last year saying how disappointed I was with selection etc however after todayвАЩs visit I take it all back, the change of ownership is obvious, the plant quality outstanding and for the first time ever the staff were really helpful, can highly recommend the lemon balm perfect compliment for the G&TвАЩs. well done hawgrips

I have only been in the area 10 months and have been to a lot of nurseries and this one has to be the best for value and quality. I got flowers and veg plants the other day and will be back soon for more as once i got home i wished i had doubled up! This amazing place should have a loyalty card as it would go down a storm!

Hawgrip plant centre has to be the best value for money garden centres I have ever found, spring , summer Autumn and winter there is always plenty of choice.

I tend to visit once a week as there is always new plants every week.

There is friendly and welcoming staff who are knowledgeable if you need info too.

Fantastic place ... long may it continue.

Great local garden centre, with friendly and knowledgeable staff, who are more than happy to offer advice and help when asked. Change of ownership has made no negative impact despite what others seem to be saying. Product selection has improved, as has the environment around the centre such as the carpark and signage.

Great garden centre, been going there for many, many years, as did my parents. Such a shame Palmers have taken over, prices will undoubtedly rise in time.

I love this garden centre . Having been using it for 6years since moving to the village. A variety of good plants excellent prices. Just so sad that this nursery is being bought out by palmers. Lost to a commercial garden centre over prices plants very very sadрЯШ≠рЯШ≠рЯШ≠рЯШ≠

We have a college allotment. Each year the learners do an enterprise project making and selling hanging baskets at ¬£10. We have been going their for years as Colin always supported the college. This year We couldnвАЩt afford to get our bedding plants there at 95p per plant, we buy over 400. With the plants, soil, and basket cost it was not worth doing. Unfortunately we went went elsewhere and bought plug plants which has meant we have to hold the sale in college much later. On the plus side, the new manager did give us half a tray of tomato seedlings free which the learners enjoyed potting on. ItвАЩs sad because we now have to think about another enterprise project for the learners.

I have been using your garden centre for years i always tell people how good it is and prices are spot on .....but today i came away with nothing i didnt know until i came on here that you had been taken over but i said to my daughter this isnt right there prices are much higher than they used to be ...some nice plants but not at that price if i wanted to shop at palmers i would have gone there .sorry wont be back again
