We’ve just recently had our wedding at Healing Manor (7th July) and we honestly can’t recommend it enough!



All of the staff were fantastic and helpful, the food was perfect (we’ve had nothing but good comments from our guests) and the grounds of the hotel are really romantic!



We cannot give enough credit to Beth (The co-ordinator) who helped us arrange the perfect day and also to Jack (our MC) who was especially helpful and made our day run smoothly!



Wish we could do it all again!

We recently had our wedding in the barn at the Healing Manor (June 2018) and it was absolutely perfect. The venue is such a beautiful setting and the staff have been amazing. The wedding coordinator Beth is excellent and was always on hand to answer our questions/advise us throughout the planning stage and the staff on the day made sure everything ran perfectly. Special thank you to Richard who was our MC for the day, he did an amazing job and we couldn't have asked for more- it felt like we had a friend running the day. The food was brilliant and all of our guests commented on how nice their meal was. We are so glad we booked the manor for our wedding and if we could do it all again we wouldn't change a thing! Thank you so much to everyone involved in making our wedding day perfect!

We recently had our wedding in Healing Manor’s barn.

From start to finish our wedding day couldn’t have gone more perfect than it did. The whole day was so special.

To start with the lovely Richard our MC, words can’t begin to explain his level of care and kindness. From checking in to the Boathouse suit the night before with my mum and bridesmaids to checking out with my husband the morning after our special day, he was so attentive and made the whole day run so smoothly, nothing was too much for Richard and it really wouldn’t have been the same without him by our sides.

Beth was lovely, all of our wedding queries were answered and sorted before our big day and we always felt reassured that our day was going to be as perfect as we hoped.

All the staff at Healing Manor were so polite and accommodating, we felt like royalty the entire time.

The whole day ran so smoothly as well as us all of our guests also had a fantastic time.



The food was incredible, from the three course meal to the evening buffet all our guests commented on how delicious the food was.



My husband and I couldn’t recommend this venue enough, as well as the venue being so beautiful it’s lovely to see such a hard working and dedicated team put together an amazing day.



All of our wedding dreams and desires were met and exceeded. The Healing Manor team excelled and we couldn’t have dreamt for a more perfect day.

We recently had our wedding at Healing Manor (9th June) and honestly it was everything we wanted and more. If we could do it all over again there isn’t a single thing we would change! A special call out to Jack who was absolutely amazing as toastmaster throughout the day and couldn’t do enough for us! We couldn’t wait for everyone to see the venue and it didn’t disappoint ���

The most delicious Wimbledon afternoon tea �� always creative and sooo yummy!! Cant wait for future themes � .... Harry Potter or Alice in Wonderland would be an amazing theme... just saying.. hint hint ��

Thank you all so much for making my husband's 60th birthday a wonderful memory. 16 family members all enjoyed their meals, no complaints from us. The service was excellent even though you had a very busy day yesterday with the wedding fare All your staff worked so hard & were very polite. We shall eat here again for certain, 5 stars deserved

Our wedding weekend at healing manor



Thursday night 22 of us arrived for evening meal with short notice to the pig and whistle we were greeted by friendly staff all our meals was prepared and served out at the same time hot and taste beautiful.

The grounds were immaculate the rooms were stayed in was spotless the wedding function was organised meals were so tasty the staff made all quest very welcome and could not do enough for us all, in all a fantastic day massive thank you to all staff in front of house and those who work behind the scenes

Came on Friday 22nd Dec to watch pink and yet another great night!

We go here quite alot anyway but never disappoint, I would highly recommend you pay it a visit if you haven't done already.

Myself and my family came for a meal in the pig and whistle last night. We had a fabulous time. The food was delicious and the staff where so friendly. Thank you to all the staff for making my birthday extra special

My wife and I recently got hitched at the manor we'd been slightly concerned having read previous reviews HOWEVER! we absolutly can't thank the team there enough they made my wife's and I day perfect couldn't do e ouch for us and worked so so hard for us all of them were truly gratefull the food was fab the rooms were fab you accommodated for my disabled relatives wonderfully and with the utmost dignity and respect and gave us the most precious memories of our wedding day thank you so much from the bottom of my heart xxx

My wedding was at Healing Manor 1 week ago, and despite my worries about things running smoothly due to negative feedback I had read I needn’t have wasted a minute worrying at all!

From the minute we met our new wedding coordinator Beth, things fell into place just lovely! All the little touches she made to make it that bit more special, all the times I was frantic and she calmed me down, to being there on our special day!! Jack our mc too was fabulous, despite us making an oversight on the amount of guests that were to arrive, Beth and jack dealt with it without causing us any alarm, they adapted and catered for all of our guests perfectly. When introducing himself to me, Richard the hotel manager said the staff were like one big family and I would have to agree with that! We were made to feel very special throughout our stay and during our special day , nothing was too much trouble for them, all of our needs were Catered for and we feel that this quirky little team/family went above and beyond! Thank you so much! ❤️

Aswell as the staff being fab, the grounds are stunning the barn ect are so perfect a venue for weddings and the bridal suite with cooper roll top bath (my favourite) just so beautiful!

Our day was so magical that we wish we could do it all over again there!

Lovely venue and private room for my baby shower. Everyone was wowed by the Peter Rabbit afternoon tea and it tasted amazing. Great service by staff very attentive.

Family of ten for Christmas Eve deal - 3 courses and a bottle of wine for £40 a couple! Fantastic deal, great service and the best food we've eaten at Healing Manor in a long time - there was also a lovely singer singing Christmas songs in The Portman restaurant which was a nice surprise as had no idea that there was any entertainment happening. Thankyou to all the staff who were very attentive and hard working x

Came today for Peter Rabbit afternoon tea it was an 80th birthday present from my daughter to my mum. I don't normally like afternoon tea as I don't really have a sweet tooth and feel that sometimes there is far too much food served. However today the balance of sweet and savoury was perfect and the presentation was beautiful. The service was very good. I would definately pay another visit and my mum and daughter loved every bit.

Absolutely fantastic 5 course burns night meal. The portions were huge. Great service by friendly and relaxed staff. What a bargain the whole night was. Another quick drink in the pig and whistle before we put lights out in the cosy court rooms. We will be back and recommending family and friends join us next time.

19 of us ate here tonight. A large table had been set up with candles and we had plenty of space. We had pre ordered - and the staff gave us time to have drinks before we sat down for food.

All the meals came and were presented beautifully. They tasted great too. Can personally recommend the Cajun chicken burger.

The staff couldn’t do enough for us.
