The 1st Saturday in September is the start of the rugby season and what a humdinger at Leicester Rd. Hinckley vs Tynedale - 2 of the best teams in the league go head to head. It doesn't get no better especially when you attend the best pre-match lunch in the league.
Hinckley is renown, not only for the rugby, but also for producing some of the best pre-match fayre on the circuit. You will not be disappointed. Tables of 10 are £250 with a £50 discount if paid for 30 days be...fore the event.
Book very early because although there are 30 tables spaces last season we added a marquee to accommodate up to 45 tables at some games. We will not be doing that this year. Booking will be taken on a first come, first booked basis.
This is the first opportunity and will no doubt set the tone of the season and we'd love to see you at what could be the start of a tremendous season.

A big thank to all that attended or supported the quiz tonight. A fantastic job by everyone involved. Much appreciation and thanks to Darren Lavender and Louise Lavender from the THE NEW PLOUGH INN for their help in organising the event. We managed to raise £1150 for Davo which was fantastic and much appreciated by the family.
The rugby club has also committed to raise money at a pre-match lunch (date yet to be selected) during the forthcoming season.
As was said during the... night, it gunna be a long haul so hopefully you can all help support again sometime and aid the many journeys Mark still has to go through.

I was lucky enough to come over to Hinckley from New Zealand in 1999 for 2 years and I became involved with Hinckley Rugby Club with a group of mates.

It is a fantastic club with great characters and I always treasure the time I had there. I look back on my time at Hinckley Rugby Club with fond memories.

I will return to Hinckley at some point and when I do, the club will be my first port of call.

Had my wedding reception here on Saturday and all I can say is OMG!! Lucy flatters did an amazing job on setting it all up and having everything how I wanted it was just perfect x
