So chuffed for the awesome Wigflex team pulling together such a varied, lively event across Nottingham. It felt proper special.
Amazing to be featured in The Guardian's "Worlds Best Parties" list popping Notts further on the map.
Congrats once again to Lukas Wigflex / Avarni Bilan and the whole team. We can't wait to come again next year!

Thanks to the fantastic kids (and their parents) who came to Young Hustlers anthology workshop at Clifton library earlier, wonderful to see so many highly creative stories and poems in response to their anthology title “Where We Call Home.” Today’s workshop was led by the hugely inspirational Shreya Sen Handley. Shreya is author of HarperCollins' Memoirs of My Body, short story collection "Strange" with HarperCollins out in August 2019, Welsh National Opera librettist, and more! If you're 6-16yrs old and live in Notts but not had the opportunity to come to any of Young Hustlers library workshops yet, they've got two more next week! Weds 17th at Radford library and Thurs 18th at St Ann's Valley library. No need to book, just turn up on the day. Be part of it. Be a Young Hustler.

Hello Hustlers, it's the first day of Summer today which is SMASHING. We're heading ever closer to another brilliant Hockley Hustle, Sunday 27th October 2019 - save the date, book Monday off work, you know the drill. Tickets via our "book now" button. You're really going to like this one.
In the mean time, Nottingham Poetry Festival returns with a whole heap of brilliant, brilliant events featuring Linton Kwesi Johnson (yep, that LKJ), Ian McMillan, Andrew McMillan, Patience... Agbabi, Roger McGough, and around 50 locally organised events, workshops, discussions and more.
all info via - nottinghampoetryfestival.com
This festival is another example of Notts coming together to showcase what we're all about, and now in its fourth year is bigger and better than ever. Some may think that poetry is a bit stuffy, not for you or reference the text you were forced to learn at school, or worse. Well, let us prove you wrong, it's often fun or funny, beautiful, melodic, moving and hand in hand with our favourite songs.
Head on down to this free preview event at Fox & Grapes this Friday from 7pm. Lots of poetry, great people, plenty of beer, come and see what it's all about.
Love from all at the Hustle, see you there.
