Went here tonight and tried the bubble gum, candy floss and passion fruit gins. They were fabulous! Definitely go back here again!

So I googled gin bars in Leicester and Hogarths came up. Initially when I walked in I thought this can’t be right but it was. The choice of gin was amazing the service was second to none the drinks were even better with fruits to compliment the gins! A hidden gem in Leicester that I’m sure soon will be busy in the months to come when more people discover how good it is! We visited it Friday and Saturday with friends as we were that impressed.

I have DJ-ed at Hogarth’s on a rotation basis since the start of May 2018. I have seen it develop to what is now one of the most popular venues in town.



Now you could consider my comments somewhat biased, given that I work there however, I have never in all my years of working in bars/nightclubs worked in a venue like this. Firstly, the venue itself is simply stunning. It is always presented well, clean and since my first night I received a very warm welcome from Michael and his team.



This has been ongoing since and developed to more of a friendship than a business relationship yet notwithstanding this, from what I observe he is a fantastic manager. Quite clearly taking pride in his job and in this venue.



The bar team always greet each and every customer with a smile and extend that same warm welcome that I receive to them. The standard of service and the drinks are second to none.



Sadly compliments are few and far between, I will be guilty of this and say that I’ve never written a review but this place truly is worthy. Well done all.

Absolutely amazing place! With amazing cocktails and just as great service... met the new manager Michael and he knew everything there was about making the perfect drinks. I will definitely be returning again as this is by bar the best pub I’ve visited in a while.

A group of us came to Hogarth's last night for a local bands gig, and we were impressed from the start, the actual venue was beautiful, so clean, and tastefully decorated (and lovely toilets, very important) When we got to the bar we were greeted by the most fantastic welcoming bar staff, probably the best I've seen in a very long time, they offered advice on the wines available, gave us some to taste, and when we decided on a bottle it was handed to us in a cooler with fresh glasses (very professional, and a rarity now) after ordering a whole round we were so shocked by what good value it was for money (£11.29 for a bottle of wine and a pint of Fosters) especially given the lovely venue and fantastic staff (oh and the wine was delicious, thank you) we had a brilliant evening, and quickly spread the word amongst our friends on what a great venue it was, some of whom came to join us because of this. We kept saying all night how much potential there is there with the space and quality of drinks and service, this could be such an exciting venue in the city centre for gigs and dj's. We look forward to returning soon. Thanks for an excellent evening, and well done to all the staff who impressed us so much.

Fabulous gin choice. Helpful staff. Let down by awful music played too loud & the huge TVs screens. It can't decide what it wants to be, a gin joint/cocktail bar or a Whetherspoons with sound. Saying that we always go in early on for a fab gin cocktail

Don't normally go in , only 2 bar staff on , lots of empty glasses on bar and tables , but took ages to get served, left before music started at 8

Went in at the weekend,didn’t fully appreciate being ID’d for a GLASS OF PEPSI....especially at the age of 19. Not fully sure that’s even a thing?! Rude staff also.

Went in to watch the football as it is advertised as showing every game! They were showing the game but wouldn't put the sound on thats twice in the space of a week, go next door to the friary! If your going to watch the football avoid unless you want to watch the football while listening to motown!

Not a nice place the staff very rude they insulted my 19 year old grandaugther one of them accused us of stealing a loyalty card the customer service was disgusting they all had a bad attitude will not be going in there again thay need to do staff training
