Lots of fun and staff very helpful & friendly

After a disappointing visit recently, We were invited back by the new manager, and what can I say Josh and his team went above and beyond our expectations and we had the perfect family fun afternoon of bowling (even if I didn't win :( ) , the Hollywood combo was very yummy too! I fully recommend everyone to try it! Also what lovely friendly staff and we look forward to visiting Hollywood Bowl High Wycombe again very soon. Thank you to all that made our afternoon so much fun.

We had fun at the bowling but service was extremely slow. Asked for drinks at the bar...they were slow and kept getting them wrong. Then done the arcades where half the machines were not working and not giving out tickets. Then it was a go slow job on handing out what we had chosen from the tickets we had won!

Very disorganised even with a booking. Got pushed around different lanes and nobody seemed to know what was going on. Got free drinks and a free game coupon but if it had been organised better they wouldn’t have to give them out. They must have given lots of coupons away. Just have more staff and a person for booked games and one for no booked games. Then I’m sure things will improve. Staff were friendly in all the caos.

I had fun with my hubby! The game was interrupted three times due to tecnichal error it was not great and not much help they offered us a free drink but nothing else. It was a night of funding for a wheel chair which I didn't know about but I think doing an act like that was very great from a Company and it was with live music! We had a free prosecco because my husband made a strike with a pink spin �

Good experience but my husband booked online and the family and senior citizen discounts were not obvious; put another £10+ onto the total cost.

Booked online last night and took my kids along with a friend. So booked a lane and drinks... the staff were very slow to help and had to ask for our drinks to be brought to us rather than them knowing they'd already been ordered. Took about 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive in the end!!

Big long queue at the bar and the desk... are you very under staffed? It did actually ruin our evening out �

Very disappointed the place is run by kids that haven't a clue what there doing, also the party we attended was meant to start at 2pm actually started at2.30pm ,meant to have mock tails and ended up havin just juice ! So over all, all 20 of us mums will not be attending nor booking another party there ! The lady who booked the party was so upset and apologised to us all when it wasn't her fault it was ur poor unorganised staff ! I hope you reimburse her half of her money back !

Just been for a couple of games at 10am, floor filthy didn't look like it had been cleaned for months, we had to manually put the bumpers up most times, only one size 8 ball with medium holes in the whole place, couldn't lock most of the doors in the ladies toilets. We had the place to ourselves, until half way through our second game when a couple came in and was put on the lane right next to us!!! Really?? Obviously gone are the days when Hollywood Bowl was the creme da la creme of bowling alleys. The 2 stars are solely for the lovely Lady behind the bar, who couldn't have been more helpful.

Booked online for 5pm last sat night and arrived 10 mins early to find a massive queue due to only 1 member of staff on the till. Managed to get to the front by 5pm to be told that they had no lanes and to wait 37mins. I asked why the wait as we have pre booked for 5 and what is the point in booking to be told ‘i duno, iv only just got on’. So went to the bar and ordered food. Food came, standard stuff. Tables were filthy and toilets were disgusting. Waited exactly 37 mins and went back to till (jumped queue as we were not waiting again) to a stressed out till lady who eventually gave us a number lane. Lane was filled with a team of people. Lady told people to move. Finally got our lane nearly an hour after expected. Pins broke down a number if times which upset my daughter and had to find staff to fix it as noone was coming. Half way through the game a small family gathered behind us waiting their turn so felt awkward. Only booked one game but felt rushed. The actual bowling was fun however we booked this specifically to ‘test out’ the place as my daughter really wants a bowling party. Im really worried that this experience will be repeated and ruin my daughters birthday especially after reading all the bad reviews. So dissappointed!

took my daughter there for her party on saturday it was awful.. lanes wasnt ready, my package was ment to have lanes decked out with balloons it wasnt, the put us on lanes late then took kids off before they had finished there game cause food was ready. went in cafe/bar for food they didnt have enough food for 2 kids so they had to wait for there food. by the time the last 2 food came out the others had finished and running around. portion size was small kids where still hungry. the cake was brought out and noone was around as kids just running round. then when most of kids had gone they decided to take the picture that was part of my package which was sooo blury. am not happy and would NEVER recommend going there for a party.







was contacted by someone from hollywood bowling and was promised a part refund and have been waiting for it to go into my bank for 2 weeks to which its still not in there.. i have contacted the person who said i can have refund via email and via facebook to which i have had no reply.. i am gunna write a letter to the head office as its a joke at how we have been treated and poor service..

Went for my sons birthday we had pre-booked but did not get bowling till 40 minutes late. The lane consistently had technical faults, it took us an hour to get to 3 turns each, the manager seemed to think it was amusing. We walked out in the end without finishing the game, we were assured the lane would be closed once our game was over and they sadly put further customers on the faulty lane. Very bad customer service

We went last night as a treat would never go back again the guy on the desk didnt have any idea what to do ask him for prices he couldnt tell us so i then looked it up online see a childs deal had to be booked before 7pm he took so long to find it on the till over 15mins it was grone 7pm so i had to pay exter then he took so long to add 4 adults he then went and got a guy who i guss works there but wasnt working at the time to come and show him it on the till i evan went to go online and book and pay spent over £60 in there and think the service was so poor. Will never go back again.

Waited 25minutes for 5 drinks once they were brought out there were all flat. We asked from replacements these again were flat. We then went to the bar during the games & had to wait 10minutes to be served, when we were being seen to the guy went to get replacements, came back 5 minutes later to ask if we were being dealt with! I explained we are waiting for replacements from you he went to get them. Then when brought out these were again flat so asked for replacements the response from the guy was ok I can open fresh bottles if you want!!!

Our reply was yes please seen as the last 3 times they have been flat & we are eating into our game time.

Finally we received the replacements then was asked how we wanted to pay cash or card we were not offered anything for the inconvenience.

So poorly managed, the staff are totally out of their depth. We qued for at least 20mins just to book a lane, thankfully the lane was available immediately, we then waited again at the bar while two gormless staff members faffed about. I dread to think that the place is like when it's busy ! Set of reception desk is so badly thought as creates a narrow bottle neck people squeezing past to get to the arcade and redeem tickets.

it needs to be opposite the entrance doors where there lots of space.

Poor would not recommend at all I’ve just tried booking my daughters birthday party here and I originally rang up and have not been told they need 2 weeks notice for a party. So now it’s no longer allowed as a party. Poor customer service. Not happy

Not been yet. Tried to book, website crashed. Phoned number provided, hugely expensive, a few minutes cost £3.80! RIP off. Phone main customer number to be rudely told it’s half term we are busy! Pathetic set up, should be embarrassed to rip off people with premium telephone numbers as well.

I wish I had read the reviews before I decided to have my sons party there. They got us on the lane 25 minutes late, the 'entertainer' may as well not been there as he was not very helpful and when asked to do something it seemed like a chore. The food should have had 2 people to bring it out as it took ages and when they took the cake to cut it they hacked it and took 30 minutes to do it and everyone had other places to be so most left without any cake. I was very disappointed that we had to take our own picture which they almost forgot we had on our package. The place needs someone older than 12 to run it and sort out the customer service.
