Sometimes it's easy to forget how important it is to have some downtime in our busy lives. We treated ourselves in the bakery today with some pizzas and snacks before getting back to biscuit making!
Seeing as today is also National Lazy Day, you have our blessing to take it easy, snuggle up on the sofa and treat yo' self this evening!

Aren’t lazy summer holidays wonderful! We’ve spent lots of time at the villa, just relaxing, as well as reflecting and planning the future. Some big ideas, some small. We watched the blood moon rise and the eclipse from the deck by the pool with a glass of wine (and an inflatable pizza of course(, and enjoyed lazy mornings (luckily the kids like lie ins too!) and making lemonade with lemons from the garden. Tomorrow we’re up early to go dolphin watching - we’ve got three days left. Hope you’re all having wonderful weekends.

Edible Portuguese tiles piped at double speed. We did some shopping today in old town Tavira, I got a *bit* carried away with the beautiful local ceramics and might need to buy another suitcase or ditch some clothes at the end of the holiday 💼

Pretty, sleepy Portuguese streets in the sun. We’re enjoying lazy days, local seafood and trying to quickly relax when Edward naps 😆 Meanwhile the lovely team at the Honeywell bakery are taking care of your orders - we couldn’t have anyone going without something as crucial as biscuits 🍪

I recently used Honeywell to provide wedding favours for our guests - little heart shaped biscuits with me and my now husband's initial's on :) They were perfect! The service of Rebecca and Rosie was brilliant from months prior to the wedding when I initially put the order in for 60 biscuits - having a sample one delivered so we could see (and more importantly taste) what it would be like. They were delicious! And much bigger than we anticipated ha! The main order arrived by signed delivery, a few days before the wedding so they were nice and fresh - they were actually still warm in the box - and were packed very well with plenty of padding and a lovely good luck note :) All our guests loved them and they were exactly what we wanted - thank you again! xXx
