We visited sunday,we all really enjoyed our meals.excellent prices,staff were very helpful.quite busy.but meals all came out together so no one had to wait.will def come again.

We used to go in quite alot at one time thought it had gone down hill but went last night with friends and thought our meals was well worth its money and enjoyed it to we will be coming in again soon

Service was good. Food was lovely too 👍 I come here quite a lot with my friend and ok sometimes I’m also cold and don’t take my coat off but that’s the only complaint I can make. Had the chicken skewers with rice and salad and it was really nice 👍

Absolutely beautiful food!! Had the quadzilla burger and the missus had the double bacon cheeseburger and they were perfect!! Lovely people lovely food

We had a lovely meal last night for my husband's birthday.It was very busy so we had to wait a bit in between courses,but when there's a few of you talking it does'nt seem so long.Would definitely recommend.Everything was hot ,and everyone enjoyed it.Thankyou very much.

Went for a meal there Thursday night after visiting my mother in law in hospital. ordered a prawn cocktail & 2 curry's & a pudding as this was a deal they had on, after 40 mins curry's came but no starter they offerd to sort it but by now we're hungry so changed it for a pudding , we had a voucher for £10 off over orders of £25 or 20% off neither was accepted at the till becouse she said we had a meal deal this wasn't mentioned at the time of ordering !! Very disappointed why offer discount on emails or website then turn it down

Did anyone else get sick after eating the

British beef & ale pie on Friday 20th February 2017.

All day my wife and I ate the same.

Except for our meal at the badger box.

We have no evidence that it was the pie but it was the only

thing we did not share that day.

So I had to ask?

Went for birthday meal,the worse meal I have had at the badger box, 4 out of thr 6 meals ,the meat was like shoe leather,looked like the meals had been reheated in a microwave, chips dry peas shrivelled and 4 out of the 6 meals were inedible, after complaining all was offered was 2 deserts,will not recommend this establishment for meals

Sadly today we had 5 chicken new yorkers all the chicken was bearly warm fish chips and peas the fish was so badly burnt to a crisp chicken baguet and chips vhips and chicken barley warm we come here every month for family get together very very disapointed today ������

Ordered streak medium to well done. Was very fatty and rubbery, returned. 2nd steak arrived

Rare..... My husbands mix grill was dry but he ate it . I had a refund as everyone else had finished. Spoilt belated MOTHERS DAY MEAL

I must admit I usually go to the Badger and enjoy my meal. The food is usually spot on and great value for money. But unfortunately, this time, I was less than impressed. Although my chicken and rib combo meal tasted ok, the chicken kebab was very dry. My friend who ordered the same meal said the same. I like the Badger Box as it's near to where I live and is a good pub, but I do hope this let-down was a one-off.

Went tonight and my meal was cold, they was 5 of us all ordered at the same time and it all came out separate times, they took my meal back witch was fish and chips brought it back out and it was just like it has been dipped or put in the microwave and then it was soggy didn't get offered another meal or a refund. The customer service is shocking,after asking where our meal was after waiting 45 minutes I got a answer back with attitude. Would never go back again and would never recommend.

This must be 1 of the worst places to eat we had chicken new Yorker peas cold chips warm chicken well i had a few mouthfuls and decided no more it was not cooked . Was asked is your meal ok said no this must be the worst meal ive ever had she replied sorry i no had loads of complains and about the chicken its the supplier some chickens ok others not sudnt tell you that just being honest do you want me to change it i said no but you need to have a word with the chef and manager we had a sweet instead .so if you want rubbish un eatable food go here.

My family and I went to the Badger Box at 1pm today, having reserved a table for six people. My Niece ordered the hunters chicken, which was sent back as it was sat in what can only be described as a puddle of grease. I ordered the Sunday roast beef. It was without doubt the worst roast dinner I have ever been subjected to. Cold, frozen roast potatoes. Soggy frozen veg and a Yorkshire pudding that was more a doorstop a than crispy delight. The worst part though was the 'roast' beef, which was the beef equivalent of spam. There's no way this was carved from a joint. I could barely eat anything, so decided to complain. Our waitress, who resembled an angry Russian shot-putter, seemed quite irate that I had the audacity to complain, telling me that "no one else seems to have a problem". A few minutes later, after having heard a large table behind us also complain about the disgusting food, I asked to speak to the manager. Unfortunately, the only 'manager' on duty was the deputy, who also happened to be the chef today. He seemed somewhat dismissive of my comments and took obvious offence at the complaint. A large, red-faced man, who would be more at home in a prison kitchen than an actual restaurant. I decided to give up at this point, as he was clenching his fists so hard I was worried for my safety. I then needed to visit the mens room. It resembled the toilet facilities of a concentration camp in the 1940's. Apparently, not only had they not been cleaned since mid-July, the staff are so proud of their filth and ineptitude, they decided to display it to the world, by having a chart on the wall actually publicising the fact that they were last checkes on 16th July! Avoid this place at all costs. Terrible food, even more terrible attitude!

I have gone in the badger for years but after Sunday just gone never again. The Sunday roast was absolutely disgusting. The beef was like rubber roast potatoes cold and been reheated and soggy. One teaspoon of mash. Hard cold veg in a big Yorkshire pudding that you cold stone the Arabs with. We had a table of 12 and totally ruined our day. The manager was not bothered and said no one else has complained. I replied they probably daren’t that’s why. However the table opposite were complaining and demanded a refund. I also demanded a refund for everyone. Not even an apology from him and looked offended. The blonde haired barmaid with a face like thunder pig ignorant and if looks could kill. We have been in before and her attitude stinks and never once seen her smile. We had fish and chips once before and sent that back as the fish was cremated and the size of the meal would suit a 2 year old child. We should have learnt then not to have food in there again. Everyone out there please avoid this place as it is criminal what they are serving. It’s a wonder people haven’t been poisoned. The cooks need sacking.!!!!!!

Been eating there for over 20 years.food and servicce good until 10 months ago.will not waste my money again on undercooked cold ,bland tasting food.served on a sticky dirty table waitered on by unhelpful inexperienced staff. Total waste of money and a really bad experience for what should have been a happy family experience. Will never go there again.
