Neil engages with his audience within seconds of walking onto the stage. His warm and genuine personality is an instant hit and his "Geordie" banter has the crowd eating out of the palm of his hand.
Whilst Neil is a natural comedy performer, his real talents shine the second he begins to sing. Went to the Hansom Cab had a fantastic time at the Michael Jackson tribute, excellent meal, excellent service, well done to all staff and the cooks. The atmosphere was excellent. Would go again. Would recommend to everybody. x

We had our Christmas dinner at The Hungry Horse, It was Gorgeous! The staff were so lovely and attentive. The beer was on the table in ice! Great chats with staff who worked their socks off. Thank you for a wonderful meal � �

The staff are always polite and friendly. The food is delicious and the wait on food wasnt too long even tho we had a table of 6. There are books and films to keep children occupied which is a massive relief for parents. We will defintiky eat there again. Thank you!

I would just like to say a big thankyou to who served us last night I think it was the manger he was going around everyone asking if everything's ok very friendly and when he came to us our daughter had managed to get hold of the salt pot without us noticing till it was to late and she had tipped a pile of salt all over her dinner, he was lovely enough to get her a new dinner so she still had a meal. We haven't been out for a meal in a while so it was a bit of a treat for us and we were very impressed with the service we received last night and everyone was very helpful considering how busy it was we do like going to the hansom cab it is always our go to place for a meal out if we decide to go. So thankyou everyone for the service and lovely food last night � xx

I have been coming here every day for the past 6 weeks to get my dissertation written up. The staff are absolutely amazing and always so friendly. The food was excellent and never had a problem with it. It was such a relaxing atmosphere in the mornings and allowed me to concentrate and I wasn’t made to feel like I was a nuisance. Thank you so much to all the staff and management xx

Great service and food was lovely and a good price well enjoyed it. Watched the villa a pint and a meal nice afternoon spent.

Brilliant service staff were very friendly especially Louise the meal we had was scampi on the Tuesday special two six pound each great meal we wil be returning asap

Nice relaxed atmosphere to enjoy a birthday meal with my stepkids. Ambience meant I actually had a conversation with my little girl, able to distract her briefly from her phone.

Had a fab afternoon and evening yesterday food was great staff are brilliant mangeress even rubbed Sun cream on my mates shoulders how's that for service

Been there twice this week & both meals were very good, on the Thursday there was a free starter or desert offer which we took up & the starter we had of breaded mushrooms was very good value.

We went with friends yesterday 4 adults 1 child. Dinners had to go back because big hairs in them pudding was FROZEN but it was not meant to be frozen and coffee machine was not working so no coffee either.

Food was ok but not great.

We usually go mill on the saw hungry horse but gone down hill so much came here it must be all hungry horses time to change eating places any one can recommend better places please do so we live stanton

Ordered the smothered steak. It's served on a skillet that should be hot but was lukewarm. The peppers and onions looked like they had been tipped on straight from the freezer. Cold and not at all cooked. Ate the steak and left everything else. Disappointed.

Never faulted it until now. One of the staff members had a very bad attitude yes it was busy but you don't take it out on customers and when we ask for something you don't do opposite or half of it and slam things on the table.

Worst Sunday roast dinner I have ever had in my life! Would not rate it at all and would highly recommend going somewhere else if you're planning on going to eat here.

My partner and I went for Sunday dinner here earlier today, not with exactly high expectations anyway, and the food came out within 5 minutes of us ordering which in itself didn't exactly fill us with much confidence in the quality of the food.. Anyway, it arrived and the beef that my partner had was literally just shredded mush on the plate, the veg was hard and tasteless, and I discovered something in my dinner which I can only describe as a rotten potato that looked as though it had been chewed up and spat back out on my plate. When asking one of the manager's what it was she answered 'I wouldn't even be able to has at a guess to what it is'. We straight away asked for a full refund as we just wanted to leave and find somewhere else to have dinner. The lady returned with only a part refund, not including our drinks which left me feeling very dissatisfied as I didn't even want the rest of my drink, all we wanted to do was leave and find somewhere else to eat! Had the lady of given us a full refund for the extremely poor food and bad service we had received then I probably wouldn't of even bothered leaving a bad review on social media as I'm not usually one to make a complaint. Oh well, maybe that's a lesson learned to them for the next time someone complains. Never will I be going back here!!

Waited forty minutes for the food, when it arrived it was almost all cold,as we were very much in a hurry, we could not wait for it to be be replaced or reheated, we were offered a complimentary drink or dessert which didn’t have time for, worst hungry horse I’ve ever been too, excuse wS very busy lol half the ta les were empty and a lot of stLl on the floor doing nothing, maybe should have sent some in the kitchen to help with the rush........

This place is a joke. Went with my friends 1 meal came out after 10 mins of ordering. The other 45 minutes later. Stone cold. No apology from staff or even asked how meals were. Other tables around us was moaning too. How can you get a cold steak on a sizzler for 1. Service was awful staff dont care. It wasn’t even busy avoid at all costs.

Me and my partner come here today we had a beef Sunday dinner I found something on the beef that was hard and should not of been on it gravey watery carrots not cooked Yorkshire pudding was rock hard u couldn't even cut it or pull apart mash was not mash it was smash just fucking disgusting

Manager was rude from the minute we walk in.. when a staff member came over to see how our meals were she shouted at him across the restaurant because he didn't look busy .. can't believe the service we received while we were there .. apart from 1 member of staff (adam) who was very polite & cheerful :)
