2 babies and a 6 year old lovely food

Great choice on the kids menu and drinks for kids lovely friendly staff

Visiting friends & always go here for lunch love it here staff always friendly & helpfull always a great meal only ever had 1 problem with a meal & was sorted straight away great service ... live it here ÔŅĹ

The staff is friendly. The service is fast.

The food came nicely presented , and was tasty .

The place it's clean and nicely refurbished.

The outside space it is lovely and feels really relaxing.

The food and service were good as usual , but left feeling very embarrassed by the fact that two ladies decided that the table I was on was in fact there’s .. no visible sign of the table being anyone’s and definitely no reserved sign..

Not eaten here on a Sunday for a while but we were very impressed with the service we received, the Sunday roasts were very good value for money and quality was exceptional full plate of meat and veg, we couldn't fault a single thing even the Easter egg sharing desert was great too. We will definitely be making more visits on Sundays.

Me, my husband and my 2 small boys came for lunch today, food and pudding was amazing, and the staff and service were great. ÔŅĹwould recommend ÔŅĹ

I come here a lot and I always have a lovely meal here! I always try to book a table days in advance and they are always fully booked so I always just turn up and I've never had to wait so that's a bonus! Lovely food and nice staff, a pleasurable experience every time- love the place ÔŅĹ

Had our first visit since the refurb and wasn’t sure what to expect from the mixed reviews I had heard and read. But we really enjoyed our meal tonight. And service was excellent we were looking to see. If there was a jar for tips if not there should be one has we like to give tips if food and service are good. We are booked in for news year even though it’s more on a set meal but very much looking forward to it. Although we didn’t find it to cramped which some people have said and probably could be if all tables were full. But I like the refurb and would say the food better than before

Had my friends baby shower here 12 of us they could not do enough for us put us in a little bit of the restaurant all to ourselves even though the place was very busy our food came really quick and was beautiful definatly be coming back here. Could not thank them enough

Came yesterday evening with my mum, place was busy which is always a good sign! Got a table straight away and had to order at the bar. Food was amazing we both had the chicken sizzlers and shared the sides! Very good value meals and excellent service. Highly recommended.

Been here 3 times now and every time it's been fab! The most recent was Thursday for my father in laws 70th. We booked a table which they decorated for us. The food was amazing, really good portion sizes, and really great service. Good choice on the menu, as well as daily deals. We all had a free dessert, which were all good sized portions even though it was free. The staff are really helpful and friendly and even sang to the birthday boy when they bought his cake out. I recommend this place all the time to all my friends and family. We'll definitely be going back. 5 stars all the way! ÔŅĹ

Had a lovely night tonight at the Newly refurbished local pud the Mundy arms in marpool, the kids still eating pudding at 21:28( got a photo of them with the time on) they shared one cause no kids puddings now

to be told that kids are not allowed in the pub after 21:30, mmmmm bad mistake you've been our local family pub for many years but tonight just ask yourself what you are trying to achieve by getting rid of your loyal family market by 21:30

People might think well that's late but when you book a table for 19:30-20:00 you'd have thought you'd have the decency to tell us before not after you taken our money from 10 paying customers, you've disappointed what was very loyal customer the mallard down the road we've heard is family friendly so that's were we are off to next, green n king why change something that don't need changing your local

Market has not changed your not a city centre pub your a local small town pub that still as the same clientele and lots of families living around you, so why take the kids menu off n take the kids play area out, why why why spoil something that doesn't need spoiling, we book lots of family meals with you for a minimum of 10

People we book Christmas wanting to make a night of it but your losing your local family custom, I know it's not the staff it's the head office so please pass this onto your head office n hopefully they will look into this and do something about it x

Always slow to get served. Management just stand around behind the bar and won't serve they just chat. Tables not cleared. Clientel noisy. Cheap and nasty food.

Went to an event recently. Was very, very poorly organised. The deputy manager had no clue what she was doing and showed complete incompetence to all the people she served before me. Other customers were complaining while we were all waiting to be served. I ordred 3 drinks and was told the hot one would be brought over to me. 25 minutes later I was still waiting. We had to wait over an hour for our food (to be told this was my fault even though their staff told me to move!) and was barely warm when it arrived. My kids were really unhappy and wanted to leave but this was pre paid event so I persuaded them to stay. I complained to a member of staff who tried to resolve the situation by giving my kids a free drink. I wouldnt come again. None of them have a clue what they are doing.

Well we're do I start .. tried to come with my family when was reopened was told no tables for 45 mins we could stand in door way as bar was over 18 only with a 4 year old and a tiny new born this was not acceptable so we left only to return for my birthday this week which was awful the food was dry the staff were grumpy and tbh I will be finding somewhere else from now on which is a shame this has been our go to place since moving up here 4 years ago what a shame!!

Terrible! Part of four this evening. Barely anything left on the menu, Took over an hour for the food to come and even then it had bits missing and acted as though we should have known. Overall absolutely terrible. They offered us 50% off next time after arguing about the food and refused us a refund at first. I asked to change my order after waiting for 37 mins. Was told no no the manager because it was ready, yet took over an hour to arrive. When the food eventually came (1hr15 mins later, after watching people who had been there 20 mins get their food) the manager said she 'might be able' to refund us.

We were missing onion rings, chips were hard and inedible and my dads burger was stone cold!!! So in all, it probably had been ready and waiting 30 mins or so to be brought out to us.

No fries, No garlic bread, no onion rings, (pub was empty though, no major rush and was 12 noon so lunch hadn’t even been yet) Offered to swap with corn or Mac n cheese, then to be told that Paul who is the chef is mardy and poorly n somone needed to check with him. 5 mins later Paul has said no mac and cheese because the costing is too much, it’s 49p more. You can’t provide a full meal, then offer us as replacement, then refuse us this because ur mardy. We cancelled the order and went to another pub, out of principle more than ever, 40 quid order surely you would honour this as you have nothing in stock! They did have everything on the menu and didn’t have Paul the poorly Princess bitching in the kitchen playing with his no doubt pre prepared frozen meals. Girl behind till was lovley however.

Absolutely shocking from the get go, hardly any stock, table wasn’t ready even though we had booked for a party of 7, then when we was seated table was dirty and wasn’t seated together. When we went to order there was a 45/60 minute wait. Eventually we walked out because of poor service and lack variety food available. Very unhappy especially when I’m a regular customer.
