Keiko is a very active and enthusiastic 6-year-old Border Collie X Labrador with some neck and shoulder problems. Yesterday we had our second session of chiropractic, acupuncture and laser therapy. Keiko welcomed us both days happily running around and it takes us a bit until he calms down. We can now officially say that his favourite therapy is acupuncture, in which he fell asleep throughout most of the treatment. Sweet dreams little Keiko! 🤣😴🐶

This week I am attending the 2nd and last module of the Equine Dynamic Myofascial Mobilization by Stefan Stammer and IAVC. 🐴The techiques are focused on enhancing horse's posture in order to improve performance, coordination and stabilization. I can't wait to start integrating these techniques in my daily chiropractic work. 🤗🐎❤

Today we have treated Riley, a 7-year-old Connemara eventer. Lately his owner has noticed him a bit tight on the hind legs. We went today to do a chiropractic treatment on him for the first time and we could notice that his right pelvis was much higher than the left one. After the treatment you can see how both pelvis are now even. 👏🐴
This immediate improvement doesn't always happen straight away, because many times the body and brain need time to readjust and produce the changes, but I have to admit that it is very cool when you have immediate changes. ❤🐎

Yesterday we had the second treatment with Jess, this sweet 10-year-old Springer Spaniel that for the last 6 months has been suffering from arthritis on both elbows, making her limp on a daily basis. We can definitely say that Jess’ favourite therapy is acupuncture, where she gets extremely relaxed and falls asleep. 🐶😴
Arthritis is a degenerative disease, but with an integrative approach based on chiropractic, acupuncture and laser therapy, we can really improve their quality... of life and most of the times we'll reduce the need of painkillers. Our old friends many times suffer from other type of problems like kidney or pancreas illnesses, what leaves us with not many drugs options. At integravet we offer an integrative approach, with no secondary effect and that will help the entire animal's wellbeing. ❤

We are having an amazing week treating loads of animals in the sun.🌞
Here we have Dolly, a beautiful high level dressage competition horse after receiving her chiropractic and acupuncture treatment, with loads of licking and yawning involved. The aim of these therapies is to prevent injuries, so don't wait for something to be wrong with your animal. Prevention is better than cure! 🐴❤

These last days I have been in my hometown (Seville, Spain) enjoying the Seville Fair which started nearly 200 years ago as a livestock trade fair. Evolving over time into a week- long social event, full of colors, horses, dancing, singing, eating and drinking. 💃🐴🥂🍗🎉
We still keep the tradition of the horses and horse carriages, where men and women wear the traditional clothes that used to be worn years ago when working in the fields with cattle. 🐴🐃💃

I always remind my clients about the importance of keeping the dogs' nails short. Here you have a great reading and video explaining why and how to cut your dog's nails. To sum it up, "if the nails touch the floor when they are standing, they are way too long". 🐕💅✂️

🎉🎉Today is Integravet's first Birthday 🎉🎉
When I decided to launch Integravet, I was very excited and nervous at the same time. Will people understand the idea of integrative treatment? Will I be able to help as much as I think I can do? Will clients and pets be happy?🤔
Not in a million years I would have thought that we would be helping as many animals and owners as we have. Offering treatments that help them from the inside, with no drugs, no magic, just helping them go back to the right path. I have loved every day of this year and I really want to thank all my clients, 4-legged patients, my partner, family and friends for the great support and welcome we have had. We'll carry on being here to give a push to your animals when they need it.❤🐕🐈🐎❤

His owner told me Dave didn't like vets and always got very anxious. Look at him now during his treatment, sometimes it is about home visits! 🐕❤

Yesterday we had a very busy and long day, treating so so many horses and dogs. We were lucky enough to finish the day with Sidney and her sofa. 🛋🐱❤
Sidney loves having his monthly chiropractic treatment on the sofa (which I also love🤣), she behaves amazingly well and allows me to do all what I need without complaining.
The first time I treated her she was not that compliant at all, but now she feels much better with her arthritis and is almost off her painkillers. Great news, don’t you think? 🐈😍

Have a look at Bear, this gorgeous 5 year old TB crossed. Since birth he has had a muscle atrophy on the left shoulder, making him lame on and off. The owner tried different therapies, but nothing was really achieved.
Here you can see the amazing difference that chiropractic can do on the shoulder muscle development. We still have way to go, but so far we are very happy with the improvement and how well Bear is now moving. 💪🐎❤

This week we went to treat Aeryn for the second time, a 10 year old German Shepard crossed diagnosed with spondylosis and arthritis on the back spine. This condition was making her very stiff and unable to sleep properly. After just one treatment her owners contacted me to say that she is much more energetic and can sleep without growling. Look how relaxed she looks during her second chiropractic treatment.
Chronic conditions on the spine can be succesfully treated with chiropractic treatment achieving an increase in the quality of life. ❤🐕

This week I have been attending a course from IAVC, learning Stammer Kinetic techniques with the aim to improve performance in horses by enhacing stabilization and coordination. I look forward to practicing these new amazing techniques with my patients! 💪🐎📖🤩
