Wow! Visited for the first time today & boy will you see me back for more! The atmosphere is just perfect-wonderful staff who made us feel welcome from start to finish & never made us feel that we were over-staying, a lovely eclectic decor that feels a tad vintage, a touch 'Bedouin' & a smidgen discotheque...strange I know...but when you go there you'll understand what I mean. The music playing in the background is from around the world (which is right up my street) & low volume enough for you to focus on chit-chat or what you're reading. Not forgetting the coffee of course, naturally being the main reason for the visit....is as sumptuous as I'd hoped it would be!

Polite and happy staff, quick service and hot chocolate tasted amazing. Love the fact it says what brand hot chocolate they use on there board. I didn't eat but my mum had a sandwich and it looked lovely, good amount of filling and quickly made and brought to us at our table.

My first time out on the newly refurbished decking and it is BEAUTIFUL. Lovely service as always and the sunshine makes it feel like we're on holiday. Thank you intenso! Perfect as always xXx

Lovely local independent coffee shop that suits young kids (separate area at the rear) to freelance consultants (no pressure to stop using their free wifi in a hurry) to trendy young things (great laid back Ibiza-esque soundtrack) to retirees, all of whom who love great coffee :)

Love this little independent coffee shop, great coffee, I had a fab toastie, lovely bread and plenty of filling, followed by a delicious passion fruit smoothie.

It's really hard to get a good espresso in Brighton these days without it tasting bitter or scalding hot! It's so refreshing to meet a barista who is passionate about the art of coffee making! Perfect espresso every time and very friendly service ☕️☕️

I can't claim to be a regular from the other side of the planet, but I can claim to go out of my way to enjoy, any time I can.

I have been going to get my coffee from intenso for over 5 years now even in snow you won't get a better coffee anywhere else hope you guys are all ok becky x
