A great weekend spent on The Neck Clinical Rehab course, with colleagues at Official Northampton Saints and neck pain specialist, Chris Worsfold 👌

It made sense that one of my first clients through the door four years ago, was one of the first to be treated at Enhance Fitness Therapies. Emily awed and inspired me from the moment we met, and I feel privileged to now call her a very good friend. From completing 15 marathons, to taking me to Frankfurt for her first Ironman 6 months pregnant with her first baby, to encouraging and training me to run endurance events again, to now having two beautiful babies and having achieved her pilots licence, rides tandem with Laura Turner, with talk of triathlons on the horizon...Expect to see more of this superwoman!

After four wonderful years at Dallington Fitness, the natural time has come to move on with my business, and education. In September, I return to study at the University of Birmingham, and as the commute is north, it makes sense to move my business north, and to the village I now reside. Courtesy of Jane Mary Tress, I am thrilled to become part of the team at Enhance Fitness Therapies at The Stables, Long Buckby, Northamptonshire.
Appointments are now available on: Tuesdays ...5pm-9pm Wednesdays 9am-1pm and 4pm-8pm Thursdays 9am-6pm
Furthermore, I present my new branding, and website. JL Sports Therapy will now be, Into Action Physical Therapy. Business cards, and flyers available imminently. My huge thanks to the very talented, Jamie Gough - your patience is second to none, I am so grateful.
As always, thank you for your ongoing support.

Whilst running my business last year, I undertook a part-time internship. Following this, I am thrilled to announce that I have been offered the East Midlands Academy Therapist position with Official Northampton Saints Rugby Football Club. The skills developed and learned in this professional environment, will only better the treatment and skills within clinic. Massive thanks to Matt, Kiera, Nathan, Lee, and Tash, for their time and guidance over the last year. Also, thanks t...o Mark and Luke, for allowing a smooth transition period. Over the August pre-season, my time between rugby and clinic will be varied, so please contact me for specific day and time availability. Sport is an ever changing schedule, with days and times altering at the last minute, so please bear with me whilst I ensure I fulfill my commitments in the best possible way. Here's to an exciting (and busy) year ahead!

A belated Congratulations to all the marvellous marathon runners, namely to those I saw in clinic for preparation and recovery sports massage, or injury assessment and treatment. You did a fantastic job, and I was proud to be part of the team that helped you to the finish line.

Hello lovely viewers. As the sun sheds its winter clothing, and event season looms - I am becoming increasingly busy. Please give me as much notice as possible, and I will endeavour to find a time to suit your schedules. Injuries and approaching events will be my priority, so for maintenance massage, please understand if I am catering for the needs of those people. For the many of you requesting appointments at the christening, please message me to remind me!

Would you agree?

A large afternoon coffee is certainly welcomed after an early start. Add another late finish, and it's a good job I love what I do!

Working as an Arborist the need to stay physically fit at all times and in all weathers is important, the massages and assesments of aches and pains are brillant.

Went to see this talented lady yesterday after 14 weeks of no real answers from another physio, she performed multi tests and gave me a 99% definite conclusion and advised me to go to hospital, where they gave exactly the same diagnosis. She knows what she's doing, is very thorough and very easy to get on with. I would recommend 100% to anybody. Thank you xx

User

Very professional and pleasant physio - powerful hands for a petite lady!

User

The only therapist I have seen that has managed to locate and target the real issue I am having. Takes the time to listen and then offer target specific treatment . Highly recommended.

Judith has been my choice of sports therapist for 18 months. In that time she has treated and rectified several long term injuries and pains. Her service is thorough and professional and I will continue to utilise her skills as I grow older and no doubt break myself some more...! Thank you Judith

User

I went to see Judith for deep muscle massages to help in preparation for a half marathon, which they certainly did! Judith listened carefully to what I wanted from the treatments, did her assessment and then worked on the specific parts of my body (legs, feet and hips) to help free them up during my training, offering different levels of pressure. These weren't relaxation massages for pleasure; these were proper sports massages that reached the parts I couldn't stretch (!) I would definitely recommend Judith for deep muscle/sports massage and will certainly use her again.

User

I had such a great session with the lovely Judith Lacey this morning :) Worked on some hip mobilisation, chest, shoulder and rotator cuff work as if that wasn't enough she then worked her magic on my trapeze, lower back and hamstrings... I feel like a new man ;) If you have never tried sports theory then take my word for it "you should" Sports therapy is NOT just for athletes like me lol ;) Thanks Judith x

User

I can’t recommend Judith high enough. When I 1st came to her October 2015, I had a slight tear of the hamstring. She worked on me then so I could make the Leicester Marathon a fortnight later. I came 2nd that day and she’s been regularly doing maintenance work on me ever since, keeping me going despite pushing my body to the limit through to my 1st England Masters appearance last October and to today with a part torn Achilles in the hope I can get myself back running in time for my next race
