We have our open day on Sunday 5th July - come and meet the team, nose around, have some tea and cake and maybe even a therapy taster or class.

You may or may not be aware that osteopathy is available through most private medical health insurance policies. I am registered with all major health insurers and have now re-registered with BUPA so members can now have osteopathic treatment with me funded through their BUPA insurance.
If you think you might need osteopathic treatment and have cover, it makes sense to make the most of it. You would just need give your insurers a call to authorise and you might need a referra...l from your GP.
Osteopathy can help with various musculoskeletal conditions including back pain, neck pain, shoulder problems, hip problems, trapped nerves, some forms of sciatica, tension headaches and low back pain associated with pregnancy.
The condition most commonly treated with osteopathy is back pain. When the spine is imbalanced, muscles tighten resulting in irritation to joints and ligaments, which causes pain. Osteopathic treatment is aimed at correcting these underlying imbalances in the spine and throughout the body, using a variety of techniques including manipulation to the spine and surrounding muscles.

On Monday 14th October the Wellbeing Centre (previously The Acupuncture Clinic) is moving to - and merging with - the Brunswick Surgery to form the Brighton Health and Wellbeing Centre.
I will be part of a team of complementary health practitioners working alongside NHS GPs in this new NHS Integrated Health Centre. Treatment with me for osteopathy will remain self funding, although I am registered with all major health insurers and will soon reregister with BUPA.
At the mome...nt we are waiting on our new direct phone line for bookings, so if you would like to get in touch to make an appointment, I can be contacted on 07968110997 or 01273840146. My email is james@osteopathy-clinic.com.
I am also still available at Natural Balance Therapies, 30 The Drive on Monday afternoons, Tuesday mornings and Thursday afternoon/evenings.

I have changed practice location. I am still at The Acupuncture Clinic, but now have joined the team at Pilates in Brighton in Kemptown, and Natural Balance at 30 The Drive, Hove. Just in case some of you were wondering where I had gone!
