I am a professional Dog groomer based in Whitefield. I offer a pick up and drop off service in surrounding areas. I have all the latest equipment so your pooch will be groomed, pampered and taken care of by myself. I am a dedicated and loving dog owner myself so I know how important it is to make your pets visit as stress free, relaxing and a pleasant experience as possible. By using " jenny-furs" I can ensure each dog is treated as an individual, regarding breed, skin type and style as if it was my own dog.

GROOMING SERVICES :

Puppy Induction sessions - These sessions are very important and are designed to introduce your puppy to grooming at a pace that is comfortable for them no matter what breed they are. Depending on the breed and the nature of your puppy I will work with you to ensure that his /her first grooming experience is a pleasurable one and not overwhelming. Recommendations are that you should start introducing your puppy to groomers around 12-16 weeks.

Preperation and Bathing - All clients are pre groomed, brushed out thoroughly and any matts, knots and tangles are removed from the coat. The preparation and bathing of your dog is the most important part of the groom to enhance the results when trimming, scissoring and styling. During your dogs bath I use the correct shampoo for your dogs coat type after the consultation has taken place. This is an assessment of your dogs health, breed and coat condition. If your dog requires a special shampoo or a vet recommended product it is advised that you please bring this with you for your appointment.

Scissoring, Trimming and Styling - All breeds have their own specific style and this can be achieved using a combination of techniques. Ultimately it is your decision, If you have any preferences how you would like your dog to look I will discuss that with you before grooming commences.

Clipping and De-matting - Unfortunately a dog that is severely matted, de-matting could be painful and distressing for your dog. The animal welfare act states that "All animals are to be protected from pain, Injury, Suffering and Disease. This could mean that clipping your dog to a short length would be the only option giving the coat and opportunity to start again.

Nail Trimming-
This is an essential part of all dog grooms so your dog can maintain healthy feet.

Prices are all based on a Full groom which includes Pre groom, Bathing, Drying, Clipping and Styling and Cutting of nails.

Full Dog Groom - from £23 (depending on breed)

Bath and Dry, including nail clipping- from £15 (depending on breed)

Hand Stripping - from £28 (depending on breed)

Nails Clipped - £5

Puppy Induction - £15

PET TRANSPORT -
If you are unable to transport your pet to me or can't get time of work etc. I have a fully insured van to collect your pet, transport them and bring them home safely afterwards.
Please note this will incur an extra charge which will be kept to a minimal amount depending on location.

PET CARE SERVICES -

Dog feeding and Cat feeding /sitting services.
My dog feeding and cat feeding service provides peace of mind that your pets are in the comfort of their own home whilst you are away or can't be home for their feeding time. I follow your pets usual feeding routine and can offer longer visits for playtime, companionship or a walk to minimise the stress. Cleaning of pet areas and any little accidents can be attended to.
In addition I can also provide home security making your home look occupied by carrying out basic duties, bringing in the post, switching lights on and off, closing curtains etc For peace of mind I can send you regular updates of your pet by email or Facebook.
