Well done Tristram! The horses have been running really well without winning but Tristram has changed that today when winning for the first time at Nottingham. Calin’s lad ran really on his debut and Hallstatt ran yet another great race at Nottingham. The team worked extremely hard on what has been very hectic day 👍👍🍾🍾👍🏇🏿🏇🏿

We hit the woodwork again today! Bobby ran an absolute stormer at Huntingdon today only getting run out of it from the last. Well done the team!

We’ve been hitting the crossbar this week with great runs by Bertog and Custard. Hopefully won’t be too long til we are back in the winners enclosure!

Well done to Signal Thoroughbreds with Monk Stand completing the hat-trick today. He has been an absolute superstar for the yard. An absolute professional!! He will have a couple of weeks on the easy before a return to Southwell in early May.

Just home from a long drive to Musselburgh where Fire Jet ran a fantastic race on ground that didn’t suit. That should put her spot on for her next outing! She certainly showed that she can compete off her 91 handicap mark. 🤞for the rest of the season!

Polyphony getting some stalls practice under Joe Fanning at wolves yesterday. Great job by the stalls team and Steve Harrison. Thanks to all concerned!

Another great performance by Monk Stand today. Under 10stone and a great ride from Silverstre de Souza he put up a nice performance. Hopefully his last two races will give him renewed confidence and he can improve further.🏇🏿🏇🍾🍾

A good start!!

After a frustrating couple of days racing at Doncaster where we saw both our good hurdlers end up on the deck we finished off with a fantastic run by Malinas Jack in the Bumper where he only got beaten by 2 heads to finish a very promising third! I am pleased to say that our Vet is confident that Bobby (Barton Knoll) will be fine and Milly would appear to have to have got off lightly with some nasty cuts and bruising from what looked a horrible fall.

Great win by Captain Swift last night! He has been a little star for Sue and Selwyn Adams winning for the 4th time in their colours. Well done to the Travelling Team of Jo Kearns and Charlie Goodwin and of course the workers at home.

Great run by Hallstatt today at Wolverhampton. He was given a lovely ride by Toby Eley who always had him in a good position but unfortunately met one too good!!

Just returned from Doncaster Sales having bought a very nice yearling Colt by first season sire Alhebayeb (by Dark Angel). Hopefully he will be home tomorrow and will start school shortly!!

Great result tonight at Wolverhampton with Ebbersham winning on his stable debut under Jimmy Quinn. A great ride as we thought the trip may be on the short side for him. He will gain lots of confidence from today!

Great run by Bertog at Newmarket yesterday finishing third in a competitive nursery. That's him for the season now and he will be getting a visit from the doctor shortly to remove his wedding tackle. I am sure that he is going to mature into a very exciting horse next year once stepped up to a mile+!!!!!!

Lovely people. When I was working there the horses were cared for second to none. John and Mary deserve every success.
