*****Charity of the Year 2019 voting update*****
We had an overwhelming response to our request for nominations to help us choose a Charity to go alongside Anthony Nolan for our Centenary year. We had so many nominations that we are a couple of days late starting the voting (apologise for that) and we have decided to shortlist the top FOUR charities, as it was too close to call.
We are pleased to finally be able to announce the charities with the most nominations as (in al...phabetical order)
Animals in Need, BacZac His legacy, Children are Butterflies, Cynthia Spencer Hospice.
From tomorrow morning our customers will be eligible to vote in store. The voting will close on Thursday 6th December. We will then count the votes and announce the Charity on Monday 10th December.

We Need your help.......
Jones Wholesale Business Store will be celebrating 100 years in business next year!!! As part of our 100th Year celebrations we have committed to raising money throughout the year for two charities.
The first Charity we have chosen is Anthony Nolan. This particular charity is very close to our hearts. As a family business, we have been personally helped by Anthony Nolan, who provided a life saving stem cell transplant to David Allitt back in 2014. Da...vid was Managing Partner of Jones Wholesale up until he took early retirement due to his health issues. The business, which is now run by David’s son Simon and his brother Tom are eternally grateful to Anthony Nolan for helping us through an extremely difficult time and we wanted to give something back, to help other families who are going through the same situation. Simon, Tom, their brother James and Ashley Warren our Warehouse Manager have already entered a Jones team to compete in the Prudential RideLondon to Surrey 100, cycling 100 Miles in a day from the Olympic Park in London, through the countryside of Surrey and finishing on The Mall in central London. All proceeds of this will go directly to Anthony Nolan.
Being a family business with our roots firmly in Northampton, we feel it is very important to support our local community and therefore our second charity will be a Northamptonshire based cause. We would very much like our customers to be involved in helping us choose who that second Charity will be. To nominate a charity please comment below. The two charities with the most nominations will then go head to head in a final vote in store.
Nominations start today and close Friday 16th November. Our customers will then be able to vote in store from Monday 19th November. Voting will close Sunday 2nd December. The charity chosen by you will be announced Monday 3rd December and fundraising will begin in the new year.
