We live less than a km from this park. I love it because I can ride my bike from our house along the shore. There are also all sorts of exercise machines to use. Dogs and kids love the beach and the playgrounds. Plus, there are all sorts of birds to watch along with the Stenaline ferry back and forth to Scotland. There are many restaurants and pubs in White abbey at the beginning of the park, and Carrick Fergus (and a castle) at the other end of the route. Plus there's pubs and Maud's ice cream en route to Carrick. The Ulster University is also nearby and great view to Belfast and the famous H&W docks where the Titanic was built. Love Northern Ireland and her people!

Three quarters of an hour from home and you could be sitting in the caravan anywhere, nice site clean showers / toilets and great for kids with park just outside gate.

User

Such a brilliant wee spot for the family day out with it two parks for big and small , playing fields for the footballers or just relaxing plus the beach for cooling down and building those sand castles . Also with cafe for all your food and drinks not forgetting the ice creams ...

User

Stayed one night in the caravan Park ,and loved watching the children playing enjoying them selves. Plenty of room for them to play , the walk along the water was amazing I loved it. And I think the Band stand was very cleverly done. And there is a very nice cafe to sit and relax at as well ..loved the concept of the Park and the whole area ,, we have loved visiting Beautiful Ireland from NZ

Oh here now stopped of here for a coffee with a mate out on a cycle and couldn't get the mate out of it great spot guys

User

Nice clean site if a tad noisy with lots of traffic going passed all night long but as we have been wild camping for 5 nights it's nice to get the washing done and dried.

Would come back again if ever we were in Ireleth

Love loughshore! Gr8 park for the kids nice walk along the shore front with the dog & gorgeous ice cream even the dogs can get a drink of water and treat for free !

User

I bring my dog here - perfect for giving her a good run and a paddle . Dog friendly with plenty of poo bins (which seem to be well used). Been here rain , hail 🌧 and shine ! It's clean, tidy and accessible with some of the best views at sea level - what could you ask?

User

Great wee spot great veiws an facilities an free WiFi which is great for the kids great play park an open all year round def be back again soon

User

Great place to go to relax at the coffee shop, fantastic food, to picnic run or cycle. There is outside gym equipment too. Only problem is and not a reflection on the ownership is people can't park properly in the bays and some dog owners don't have a clue how to look after their dogs and cyclists speeding.

First time in touring van after years in static. Loughshore was a great site. Easy to get in, uncomplicated and secure gated site with great amenities which were spotless. Fab play park for all ages (i even had ago on the swings) and lovely walk along promenade. Look forward to next visit.

User

Brilliant place for adults to chill and kids to play especially on a dry sunny day with the beach so handy

User

Amazing love the over look of the sea, the wee cafe is really nice everything you want when you go for a walk on a cold day wee lattee makes it's much better

User

A great experience to walk along the shore then a lovely cup of coffee and scone in the cafe to finish the walk.

User

Would have given the toilet block and showers a 5 but the water was cold /luke warm in showers ,think the thermostat is knackered, apart from that it does what it says on the tin ,traffic noise could be a problem for young families ,started about 6 am

User

Nice to go to on a wet or dry day,cup of coffee and then a walk along coast or just sit a people watch. Grandkids love the park and the ice cream.

User

Fabulous walk, jog, dog walk and cycle. Fab views. One off putting thing is dog owners letting their dogs run free. One of my children is petrified of dogs and it doesn't matter if you tell me the dog wouldn't touch a fly!! Most owners are law abiding which makes for a really enjoyable afternoon out.
