Had a nice welcoming breakfast in j29 the assistant was called she and she was one of the most welcoming politest people any one could ever ask for , the cafe was clean tidy and welcoming

Could bend that blonde lass over breakfast bar and shoot a load of salad cream all over her back

After reading some of the reviews on here, I felt I had to post...

I have had nothing but great food (at reasonable prices )friendly staff , and a decent pint... you moaners on here need to realise that it doesn't claim to be the fecking "Ritz"

It can't be too bad, cos it's full every night...

Stayed there last night been a while since was last there.. staff food spot on ... only issue I have is the toilets .. all three toilets were blocked not very good when your needing to go ASAP

Stayed last night food was the best ive had in a long time here nice and hot and the tables cleared not like the last time i was in

Food ok,was clean,gets very busy,was a tad noisy after 4am but expected as was parked on the front and the lorries pull out then drive past u again on the 1 way system,would stay again!!

Tea and coffee really need to be addressed! I had a cold awful cup of coffee in the evening followed by a just as bad cup of tea in the morning :( other than that all good ’┐Į

I will defo stop again but please sort this out!

Staff are always friendly and the food is spot on but slightly over priced and had to pay extra for chips instead of potatoes and veg. If your going to be late there it's definitely worth phoning to book a parking spot as it gets full quick. Only real gripe with the place is the showers. Communal changing area with no real privacy and showers aren't included with the parking fee.

I Don't have the breakfast here COS it us not worth the money.And not very nice.Rhe evening meals are mainly ok.The car park is poor because it's 24 hr all you here all night is wagons. ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

Called last week and found the gammon, egg and chips "fair". Though the cup of tea was a little tasteless. What's peeved me off is called tonight and find the only thing open is the lorry park out the back. Rubbish outside toilets, no security or prevention of other drivers parking across you, no shower facilities and no food and drink of any sort. Everything's closed by 4pm. And all these truckstops pretend to have the drivers interests at heart. Bloody hell mun. This acting performance deserves an Oscar ’┐Į

You really need to take note of what people are saying on here and instead of just in boxing people actually do something about the complaints. The shower issue is a big one and the food quality over the last 6 months has really gone down hill. If you don't act fast truckers will just stop coming and it b a shame to see this place go to the wall as it use to b one of the better stopping places

The worst nights sleep woken every half hour just a constant bang fridge running engines running . First and last stop.

Regular breakfast with a tea was very disappointing. The only thing moist on a breakfast should be sauce so I I asked for no beans or tomatoes. Was not offered substitutes or offered a discount. Both the toast (at extra cost) and fried bread were anemic. The bacon (slice) over cooked, fried egg over cooked and not runny and the sausage (yes just one) was over cooked. The tea was the same colour as the white mug it was served in. Poor very poor

Get here and park on snap as often-as poss but tonight I was not impressed , I turned up at the cafeteria at around 20:15 and the first thing staff said was ŌĆ£ we have turned off the grill ŌĆ£ oh ok , there goes the gammon , what have you got I enquired ? We have a curry and would you like it with chips so I said yes , the chips were rock hard like they had been rushed there was no green on the plate just a grissly currie slapped on top , not impressed , We ainŌĆÖt guinea pigs show some respect , the above was after another 13 hour day. .. drivers donŌĆÖt need this shit !!!

For the evening meal i give 5 but for the breakfast i give it 1

Fried bread so hard you need an axe the sausages are very cheap and nasty, egg not cooked properly and food thrown on a plate as no thought had gone in to it.

We are human, we like our food to a good standard like the dinners, do away with the cheap sausages etc and lower the price of your tea while at it, we vote for the best so be careful we could go elsewhere

Dropped in to use the Truckwash this morning and thereŌĆÖs only one lad working !!!!

IŌĆÖve already purchased my ticket and been here an hour now with only one truck in front of me , still not in the bay yet .

WonŌĆÖt be coming back here any time soon.

After 40 min wait for pie and chips and then waking up with stomach ache I think I'll give it a miss in future.

A truck stop that was renowned for good food at the right price now charging extra for chips with a meal which is half the size 15 yrs worth of custom and now won't be going back any time soon another trucks top taking advantage of the driver well not any more

┬Ż6.30 for two toast, salty, luke warm, dry baked beans and two eggs and a cup of dishwater tea . This place is really a last resort place to stay these days .
