Karmana concept is much more than just another restaurant! .
Karmana support artists, music, and help build true sense of community. The percentage of net profit goes to good causes, we do this without ticking any boxes.
Name “Karmana” is a Sanskrit word. Refers to “deed”, “work”, “action” and it is also the “object”, the “intent”. These three words are together used to describe a state of consistency expected of an individual. The motto Manasa (thoughts), Vaacha (speech), Karmana (actions) is usually invoked to imply that one should strive to achieve the state where one’s thoughts, speech and the actions coincide.

What Kind Of Cuisine is Karmana?
Plant based (Sattvic) Food. We get our inspiration from around the globe in particular where plant based diet has been norm for generations.
Is your food Vegan?
Our default position is VEGAN including all our deserts, however we do offer some vegetarian options within our menu (cheese /Paneer or if you like ordinary milk /honey with your tea or coffee. )
Is your Food Spicy?
We use Herbal spices in our cooking such as Ginger, Garlic, Turmeric, Cloves, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Onions etc not only for flavor but added health benefits too, if you like your food hot, please mention at the time of your order and we will use green chili to make it hot for you.

Took my daughter for afternoon tea to try out some of their food and look at the menu for future dining ideas. Totally amazing food, lovely staff and huge choice of meals. Totally over the moon to find this little local vegan gem.
This place is the best! The most welcoming place I’ve ever been to ☺️ The owners have a beautiful vision to inspire everybody’s unique creativity and emotional expression through arts in an accepting and non judgemental environment. The great food and selection of nutritious and delicious drinks is a bonus! Karmana is truly a credit to Northampton. Thank you 🙏 xxx
My partner & I finally made it to Karmana last night. What an amazing place. The food was so tasty, the staff had beautiful energy and we spent most of the evening talking with the owner who was a most interesting gentleman. I would highly recommend & we will definitely be back.
My friend found this gem of a place completely by chance and so glad she did! It’s lovely to be able to choose from menu which is vegan by default so not worrying about ingredients and where the food on offer immediately appealed to my non vegan friends too. The service is warm and friendly and they even have fabulous dessert choices. This is everything a vegan restaurant should be- welcoming, great food and inclusive for all- will definitely be back x
