Happy #Monday everyone!! 🐶🐱😁 #MondayMotivation

We took Cooper into the Weston Favell store for his first groom today! He’s a 15 month old American Akita (long coat) and he loves the fuss the staff make of him! � We picked him up after an hour and a half and he had been having fun playing fetch and looked so cute! He’s so soft, fresh and clean and smells beautiful! He had a trim around his paws and has not looked so good in a long time! Thank you to Tammy (I hope I have the name right) - you did an excellent job! Can’t wait to see the pics of his grooming experience! ��

Took my very old and very timid springer into Hucknall Kennelgate today for her regular groom, this is the third time I have taken her there and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Everyone there is really helpful and super friendly. Betsy gets really scared but everyone there helps keep her calm. I have previously been to other groomers and have always felt I needed to stay with her, but here she is happy to stay on her own and is apparently well behaved. Keeley and the team are fantastic, so thank you very much! Would recommend you to anyone in the area! (In fact I did when I was at the vets!)

Took my beloved Shitzu Dennis to Weston Favell Northampton today for a Christmas groom with Tammy. To be honest he was a bit scruffy and was in need of a makeover. Tammy done her thing with him and I was really pleased with the results. To top it off he had a lovely Christmas bow attached to his collar which was a nice touch. All in all I am pleased with The parlour especially Tammy who did an awesome job and I will definitely be booking Dennis in again in a few weeks time. �

Took my 4 month old Shih Tzu, Teddy, for his first puppy groom today at the Weston Favell branch. I was so pleased when I picked him up. They had done a great job and he seemed to enjoy himself. Thank you xx

The staff at Gamston are brilliant, I got free stuff and loads of advice.

Our 18 week west highland terrier pup, Daisy (and my husband and I!) have just completed our 6 week puppy training and socialisation course at Kennelgate Lichfield. We have all thoroughly enjoyed the course - our trainer Steph Dainty has been engaging, friendly and knowledgable throughout and excellent with the puppies. We have all learnt some very valuable obedience and re call and Daisy has loved the treats! It has been great socialisation - for us all! Thank you Steph (and Amy/Aimee's) for everything. We would highly recommend.

My almost 6 month old cocker spaniel Henry had his very first puppy pamper at Wollaton today...the groomers and the in store staff were so welcoming! The 3 groomers I met were fantastic, especially the young lady who bathed and dried him off, giving him plenty of love and reassurance and the extremely knowledge groom manager who couldn't do enough for you...next 2 appts booked in! A very happy and grateful pup owner!!

I’m not one to frequent Facebook, let alone leave reviews, being an old fogey, but excellent service deserves recognition (sincere apologies for there having been such a delay). I bring my dog here for her food, toys and mandatory fuss from those who work here, never been disappointed yet. Being in the canine field of work myself, I know how important it is for expertise and knowledge to be disseminated to owners and members of the public. I travel for work and invariably take my dogs with me (my other is not allowed in pet shops due to her terrible behaviour!). Never have I come across a pet shop wherein the staff are so incredibly professional, well-mannered, erudite or friendly. Hence, I find myself returning as often as I can when I am in the vicinity. Anybody who knows me knows I’m a stickler for professionalism. The level of advice I’ve received from the ladies at Kennel Gate is second to none, and Bella adores the attention she receives simultaneously. Although I was saddened to hear that some of the old faces have since left, I’m nevertheless glad to see that some of the others are still there. Julie and Claire are ever so helpful, as per usual, and I am glad to see their newest trainee Elena is still there. Excellent services from all and was astounded at the depth of knowledge from a trainee. Not a fault to be found. Brilliant.



As always, my Kennel Gate family, it has been a pleasure. I am looking forward to my next visit.

Just back from kennelgate in hucknall, my 20 week old shiz tzu Fudge loves going there for her groom with Chloe who does an absolutely brilliant job & is very patient with her as she can be a wriggly dog. All the staff are freindly & helpful at this store.

I'd like to say a huge thank you to the staff at kennlegate plains road. They, especially their store manager have been amazing in the last 3 weeks since we got our gorgeous cockerpoo. It's not been an easy ride and the advise and support has been above and beyond. For that id like to say keep up the good work and thank you for all you're fine advise so far, from food advice to training and so much more . One very happy customer :)

I went to the mansfield wood house store to take my puppy for a bath. The staff were all so professional and welcoming and put your pet at ease. This was the first time I ha ever been to this store and I will be definitely be returning! I can't recommend them enough!!! The price is also really reasonable for the work that they do. I would like to thank all the staff love myself and Bella xxx

I went into the Corby store today with my dog called Bella. Bella can be quite a nervous dog so she usually barks or growls when people approach her. I would just like to say a huge thank you to the lady in that store, thank you for being very understanding with Bella � Bella warmed to this lovely lady very well and I am so happy that Bella can go into a pet shop and feel incredibly comfortable. My dognalso enjoyed a treat and a frozzys yoghurt � I am also happy that I can take Bella into your pet shop and not feel like people are judging me (unfortunately I don’t know the lady’s name!) I am so impressed with your store!

I took Bonnie for her first full puppy cut today at Weston Favell, Northampton. Tammy did an absolute fantastic job especially as Bonnie isn't the most obedient puppy! Would recommend a visit to the store as well, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff. Thanks again Tammy.

I needed a coat for my new pooch but was unsure of the sizing. I emailed customer services and a lovely lady named Katy emailed me back, she gave me all the info I needed!

I ordered the danish 2 in 1, Picked up the coat yesterday from the heanor store and its perfect! Already been out for a rainy walk this morning, it was a perfect fit and I could even get his harness underneath with the handy hole near the neck.

10/10!

Huwie has been going for his grooms to Tammy at the Weston Favell store now for a while. He was petrified of the drier and being bathed as a Border Collie puppy, but now, as he is reaching two years old, he enjoys it! He is no longer scared of the bath, which is good as Tammy normally has to get in it with him! He is also coming round to the idea of enjoying his hair been dried too! Thanks to Tammy's time and patience with him, he has over come many fears of the grooming room!

Hucknall store. First went there about 18months ago and had a groom by Charlie by far the best service we'd had so was gutted to find out she had left but she is now back and now my 4 little doggies are regular visitors. Had a groom by other members of staff and they all do a good job but Charlie goes above and beyond her role so as long as she's there ill continue to come. :)

Hi I used to work there it was my dream job then I had to put my house up for sale and moved to halesowen I would love to work back there but it's to far to travel. To be part time.

Had my two Shih Tzus Henry & Milly groomed at the Mapperly store on Saturday 31st March, it was Henry’s 2nd time going & Milly’s 1st . Both looked fantastic Henry was good as gold but Milly played up a lot on the table, even though they did a fantastic job on her. She has had a talking to fingers crossed will be better next time . Can’t wait to see the Easter photo shoot pic’s . Can’t recommend the Groomers enough thank you

I’ve given one star based on the advice one of the store assistants at the Shrewsbury branch gave customers today. The couple obviously had a young puppy who was chewing furniture whilst they were out and they were asking advice on what to give to keep it occupied. The assistant said, quote “it’s chewing the furniture to get its own back on you for leaving it”. What utter nonsense. Comments like this could lead those owners to punish or chastise their puppy thinking that it was being deliberately destructive ‘to get its own back’. I was horrified and quickly left the store or I would have gotten very cross indeed. If assistants don’t have anything informed and constructive to say then DON’T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL!

Hucknall store. First went there about 18months ago and had a groom by Charlie by far the best service we'd had so was gutted to find out she had left but she is now back and now my 4 little doggies are regular visitors. Had a groom by other members of staff and they all do a good job but Charlie goes above and beyond her role so as long as she's there ill continue to come. :)

Hi I used to work there it was my dream job then I had to put my house up for sale and moved to halesowen I would love to work back there but it's to far to travel. To be part time.

Had my two Shih Tzus Henry & Milly groomed at the Mapperly store on Saturday 31st March, it was Henry’s 2nd time going & Milly’s 1st . Both looked fantastic Henry was good as gold but Milly played up a lot on the table, even though they did a fantastic job on her. She has had a talking to fingers crossed will be better next time . Can’t wait to see the Easter photo shoot pic’s . Can’t recommend the Groomers enough thank you

I’ve given one star based on the advice one of the store assistants at the Shrewsbury branch gave customers today. The couple obviously had a young puppy who was chewing furniture whilst they were out and they were asking advice on what to give to keep it occupied. The assistant said, quote “it’s chewing the furniture to get its own back on you for leaving it”. What utter nonsense. Comments like this could lead those owners to punish or chastise their puppy thinking that it was being deliberately destructive ‘to get its own back’. I was horrified and quickly left the store or I would have gotten very cross indeed. If assistants don’t have anything informed and constructive to say then DON’T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL!

We took Cooper into the Weston Favell store for his first groom today! He’s a 15 month old American Akita (long coat) and he loves the fuss the staff make of him! � We picked him up after an hour and a half and he had been having fun playing fetch and looked so cute! He’s so soft, fresh and clean and smells beautiful! He had a trim around his paws and has not looked so good in a long time! Thank you to Tammy (I hope I have the name right) - you did an excellent job! Can’t wait to see the pics of his grooming experience! ��

Took my very old and very timid springer into Hucknall Kennelgate today for her regular groom, this is the third time I have taken her there and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Everyone there is really helpful and super friendly. Betsy gets really scared but everyone there helps keep her calm. I have previously been to other groomers and have always felt I needed to stay with her, but here she is happy to stay on her own and is apparently well behaved. Keeley and the team are fantastic, so thank you very much! Would recommend you to anyone in the area! (In fact I did when I was at the vets!)

Took my beloved Shitzu Dennis to Weston Favell Northampton today for a Christmas groom with Tammy. To be honest he was a bit scruffy and was in need of a makeover. Tammy done her thing with him and I was really pleased with the results. To top it off he had a lovely Christmas bow attached to his collar which was a nice touch. All in all I am pleased with The parlour especially Tammy who did an awesome job and I will definitely be booking Dennis in again in a few weeks time. �

Our 18 week west highland terrier pup, Daisy (and my husband and I!) have just completed our 6 week puppy training and socialisation course at Kennelgate Lichfield. We have all thoroughly enjoyed the course - our trainer Steph Dainty has been engaging, friendly and knowledgable throughout and excellent with the puppies. We have all learnt some very valuable obedience and re call and Daisy has loved the treats! It has been great socialisation - for us all! Thank you Steph (and Amy/Aimee's) for everything. We would highly recommend.

My almost 6 month old cocker spaniel Henry had his very first puppy pamper at Wollaton today...the groomers and the in store staff were so welcoming! The 3 groomers I met were fantastic, especially the young lady who bathed and dried him off, giving him plenty of love and reassurance and the extremely knowledge groom manager who couldn't do enough for you...next 2 appts booked in! A very happy and grateful pup owner!!

I’m not one to frequent Facebook, let alone leave reviews, being an old fogey, but excellent service deserves recognition (sincere apologies for there having been such a delay). I bring my dog here for her food, toys and mandatory fuss from those who work here, never been disappointed yet. Being in the canine field of work myself, I know how important it is for expertise and knowledge to be disseminated to owners and members of the public. I travel for work and invariably take my dogs with me (my other is not allowed in pet shops due to her terrible behaviour!). Never have I come across a pet shop wherein the staff are so incredibly professional, well-mannered, erudite or friendly. Hence, I find myself returning as often as I can when I am in the vicinity. Anybody who knows me knows I’m a stickler for professionalism. The level of advice I’ve received from the ladies at Kennel Gate is second to none, and Bella adores the attention she receives simultaneously. Although I was saddened to hear that some of the old faces have since left, I’m nevertheless glad to see that some of the others are still there. Julie and Claire are ever so helpful, as per usual, and I am glad to see their newest trainee Elena is still there. Excellent services from all and was astounded at the depth of knowledge from a trainee. Not a fault to be found. Brilliant.



As always, my Kennel Gate family, it has been a pleasure. I am looking forward to my next visit.

Just back from kennelgate in hucknall, my 20 week old shiz tzu Fudge loves going there for her groom with Chloe who does an absolutely brilliant job & is very patient with her as she can be a wriggly dog. All the staff are freindly & helpful at this store.

I'd like to say a huge thank you to the staff at kennlegate plains road. They, especially their store manager have been amazing in the last 3 weeks since we got our gorgeous cockerpoo. It's not been an easy ride and the advise and support has been above and beyond. For that id like to say keep up the good work and thank you for all you're fine advise so far, from food advice to training and so much more . One very happy customer :)

I went to the mansfield wood house store to take my puppy for a bath. The staff were all so professional and welcoming and put your pet at ease. This was the first time I ha ever been to this store and I will be definitely be returning! I can't recommend them enough!!! The price is also really reasonable for the work that they do. I went into the Corby store today with my dog called Bella. Bella can be quite a nervous dog so she usually barks or growls when people approach her. I would just like to say a huge thank you to the lady in that store, thank you for being very understanding with Bella � Bella warmed to this lovely lady very well and I am so happy that Bella can go into a pet shop and feel incredibly comfortable. My dognalso enjoyed a treat and a frozzys yoghurt � I am also happy that I can take Bella into your pet shop and not feel like people are judging me (unfortunately I don’t know the lady’s name!) I am so impressed with your store!

I took Bonnie for her first full puppy cut today at Weston Favell, Northampton. Tammy did an absolute fantastic job especially as Bonnie isn't the most obedient puppy! Would recommend a visit to the store as well, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff. Thanks again Tammy.

I needed a coat for my new pooch but was unsure of the sizing. I emailed customer services and a lovely lady named Katy emailed me back, she gave me all the info I needed!

I ordered the danish 2 in 1, Picked up the coat yesterday from the heanor store and its perfect! Already been out for a rainy walk this morning, it was a perfect fit and I could even get his harness underneath with the handy hole near the neck.

10/10!

Huwie has been going for his grooms to Tammy at the Weston Favell store now for a while. He was petrified of the drier and being bathed as a Border Collie puppy, but now, as he is reaching two years old, he enjoys it!
