Having watched this I was very moved 😢 Yet having experienced divorce, it may help those who are thinking about divorce, to understand and come to terms with the incredibly emotional feelings of loss that arise during the divorce process. It is also something that can be authentically celebrated, because Love can't separate or die, it just changes form 😇 On a lighter note I'm available for bookings😘 And on a much lighter note if you couldn't stand the man you married anymore then what better way to celebrate letting go! Hallelujah darlings!

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEKEND FROM KEN WAPNICK A beautiful, clear and hopefully supportive quote from Ken's book, 'The Stages of Our Spiritual Journey'. 'Everyone deserves love because we all are a part of love, and share the same insane need to perpetuate the dream, and the same interest and goal in awakening from it. With the latter as our value there can be no specialness, and so we do not have to make ourselves holy or spiritual; in fact we need do nothing. It is not necessary to work at forgiveness; we simply question the values we have adopted and eventually let them go, allowing the inherent value of innocence to shine forth in everyone, unimpeded by thoughts of attack. This process of forgiveness reflects Heaven's 'value' of perfect Oneness.'

A reading to help to understand the grieving process. Be gentle with yourself...
As for grief, you’ll find it comes in waves. When the ship is first wrecked, you’re drowning, with wreckage all around you. Everything floating around you reminds you of the beauty and the magnificence of the ship that was, and is no more. And all you can do is float. You find some piece of the wreckage and you hang on for a while. Maybe it’s some physical thing. Maybe it’s a happy memory or a ph...otograph. Maybe it’s a person who is also floating. For a while, all you can do is float. Stay alive.
In the beginning, the waves are 100 feet tall and crash over you without mercy. They come 10 seconds apart and don’t even give you time to catch your breath. All you can do is hang on and float. After a while, maybe weeks, maybe months, you’ll find the waves are still 100 feet tall, but they come further apart. When they come, they still crash all over you and wipe you out. But in between, you can breathe, you can function. You never know what’s going to trigger the grief. It might be a song, a picture, a street intersection, the smell of a cup of coffee. It can be just about anything…and the wave comes crashing. But in between waves, there is life.
Somewhere down the line, and it’s different for everybody, you find that the waves are only 80 feet tall. Or 50 feet tall. And while they still come, they come further apart. You can see them coming. An anniversary, a birthday, or Christmas. You can see it coming, for the most part, and prepare yourself. And when it washes over you, you know that somehow you will, again, come out the other side. Soaking wet, sputtering, still hanging on to some tiny piece of the wreckage, but you’ll come out.
Take it from an old guy. The waves never stop coming, and somehow you don’t really want them to. But you learn that you’ll survive them. And other waves will come. And you’ll survive them too. If you’re lucky, you’ll have lots of scars from lots of loves. And lots of shipwrecks.

Prayer for the week...Purpose 🤔
Spirit Within,
May I be unafraid to know... My true purpose, Even though it scares the life out of me. I know that only this will make me happy Because what You will for me Beloved Spirit, Is what I will as well. Let me love the part in me That is scared of following my hearts desire As I let You show me the way. I let go and rest in the certainty That I am a perfect piece Within the jigsaw of my life. I now allow myself to be lead To the niche that I fit into perfectly
Amen😇

PRAYER FOR THE WEEK 😊
Loving Spirit Within My Heart,
Hold my hand as I step... Through unfamiliar ground, Stay close by when I say I don’t want you around.
Be my friend when I’m afraid To face my darkest fears. Teach me how to heal these wounds I’ve carried round for years.
Walk with me along this path And catch me when I fall. Remind me when I ask for help, You’ll answer to my call.
Amen😇
