At Kestrels’ we are proud to share similarities and celebrate differences. We had a great week exploring how some children and young people see the world differently and understanding Autistic Spectrum Disorder better. We learnt a song with Makaton, created our handprints for a shared display and enjoyed learning more about what makes us unique.

We have been working really hard to improve our sports offer at Kestrels' and have enjoyed seeing some tremendous team and individual successes #healthybody #teamwork #kfpsport

Happy WORLD HAPPINESS DAY! Today we are welcoming @bbcemt to school today and will feature on tonight’s East Midlands Today programme! I love that they approached us as a ‘happy and vibrant’ school to appear on their feature! #InternationalHappinessDay

World Book day was a joyous celebration of all things READING! We love to read at Kestrels', there is nothing better than getting lost in a good book! :) Thank you to the Friends' of Kestrels' for a lovely community world book day event. It was great to see so many families exploring the Gruffalo trail, hearing Cinderella read a book and exploring the activities on offer :)

There have been a few goosebumps moments in the last few weeks. The artist, MrASingh, has been in the Juniors revamping our library. working with children and delivering esafety workshops for parents. The focus on reading continues for us and we are excited. We were a little bit excited before the show!

My daughter attend this school year 2 the teacher is fantastic and I am happy with the school they if we have any problem always teachers and staff are there to help the new headteacher she is fantastic to.

My children currently attend this school in year 5 and year 6. I'm happy with the way the school teaches and the staff are helpful too. The last headteacher was a great asset to the school and left at the end of the last academic year. The new headteacher is like a breath of fresh air and is taking some new initiatives, which are being welcomed by all parents I have spoken too...well done!! I would recommend this school.
