Job Title: Nursery Cook Wages: the hourly rate is negotiable depending upon experience Hours: (30 hours) 10.00am – 4.00pm... Liaising With: Ofsted Inspectors, Early Years Development Officers, EHO Inspectors, Health & Safety Inspectors, Doctors, Health Visitors, other Childcare Professionals and external agencies Key Responsibilities • To organise, cook and prepare a healthy, balanced diet for children aged 0 to 5 years in accordance with the nursery menus. • Take into consideration daily those children who have special dietary requirements and prepare a suitable alternative. • Prepare a suitably balanced rotating menu taking into account dietary and cultural requirements of the children. • Ensure high standards of hygiene, health and safety is maintained in the kitchen at all times.
Qualifications: - Food preparation 1 year experience (chef, cook, kitchen assistant) - A Recognised catering qualification Required licence: - Food Hygiene Level 2 Skills: - knowledge of food preparation for special dietary needs, cultural requirements and allergies - Knowledge of Environmental Health requirements (EHO)

Wow!! What a couple of weeks we've had at Kettering Childcare. We've got a projector with a screen; a great visual aid which the children love dancing and singing too. Lots of paint decorations including a reading garden, meadow, window for our home corner and a beach ready for the arrival of our sand to make a huge indoor sand pit!! The children have made stained glass window hand prints using paint which looks gorgeous with the sun shining through. The gardens have also changed as well as the reception area. We're so proud and ready to show it off. Book a show round on 01536 412172.

Its been all hands on deck this morning with painting the nursery. The children have loved putting paint on the windows and doors watching all the colours mix. We have lots of photos to put up with some new decorations in the nursery shortly. Please ring 01536 412172 to book a show round.

We have had a fantastic afternoon at the park in the sunshine. We have enjoyed a lovely picnic tea and ice creams. We love the summer!

Really lovely nursery with great facilities. My daughter loves playing here.

Our first visit was brilliant. I arrived half an hour early but the staff made us so welcome and offered me a cup of tea. My Son Carl loved playing in the sand and water as was a beech theme day. All the staff were lovely .It was a really nice afternoon. Looking forward to next Friday already . Thank you so much xx

Love this nursery, total freedom for my children to choose what they want to do!! My 4 girls look forward to their time here and really enjoy the dinners. Would recommend to everyone I know!!

I would not hesitate to recommend Kettering Childcare to anyone. From our very first visit before they even opened we were made to feel so welcome. The setting itself is lovely and they have made great use of the outside space. The staff are fantastic and always made time to speak to us when we were dropping off/picking up and it is clear that they care about the children and the parents. As a first time mum, returning to work was difficult but seeing how my son bonded with the staff put my mind at ease. The online diary system is great as it means I get to see what my son is up to throughout the day rather than waiting to find out when I pick him up.

Highly recommend this nursery ! Gracie loves being there and if she is upset the staff are absolutely brilliant with her and you can see they genuinely care 👍I get regular updates and the baby diary system is really good to see what your little one has been up to, Gracie has made friends and has lots to play with and the staff are amazing x
