Dogs are very welcome in the garden and a free dog biscuit and fresh water awaits.

What a hidden gem! Absolutely beautiful surroundings and such a quaint tea room.
Had the tuna baguette which was really delicious, as was the latte.
Enjoyed every minute of my visit!
Well worth the walk from the Narb along the Great Central Way. Relaxing coffee and a cream scone on a balmy October day. I shall be back when this cafe reopens in the Spring.
We've been going here since it first opened 12 years ago. A real gem. We like it so much that we have travelled by car, bikes, foot and rowing boat many a time!
We visited on the opening day today and it was just stunning and peaceful in the glorious sunshine which naturally had attracted lots of visitors. We found a table and were seen to very quickly, even though there was a wait the service was very smooth and efficient with lovely friendly staff. The scones were just amazing and the choice of cakes was fantastic with lots of interesting options including amaretto cake! Well done to your first day, we will recommend you to lots and we look forward to coming again. Our two year old also loved it especially as he got to play with the outdoors playhouse in a lovely safe and secure environment. The atmosphere was so relaxed we could've stayed a day!
We have been going to this little gem when it opened 16 years ago, we always enjoy our visit, we access it either by a walk down the grand union canal, or a walk down the great central way, We are spoiled, the food is home cooked and always delicious, the staff are amazing, Pete and Fiona are doing an amazing job to accommodate the public by buying shelters for rainy days, well done x
We had a lovely bacon and sausage baguette along with a delightful cream tea.

My den of tranquility. Strategically placed to allow you to enjoy a cream tea safe in the knowledge the walk home will burn it off.
Lovely visit as always to the tea rooms after our walk on the Meadows. Very pleasant atmosphere in the garden. Staff were friendly and efficient. Would recommend the scones- very light!
Lovely elevenses on our walk this morning - the boys enjoyed their dog biscuits too - we will definitely visit again!
Love this place, I am always sad when it comes to the end of season, lovely place to stop for a drink on our walks through Aylestone Meadows.
Had a lovely walk this morning the some great breakfast at kingslock great start to a Sunday and bumped into the lovely Linda from Maiyah"s old school Granby.
From the moment our walking group entered this establishment, we were warmly welcomed. Even provided us with a free treat of home made scones and jam. A truly wonderful experience. Well done οΏ½
Do love it here looking out on the meadows with a cup of tea or an elderflower fizzy drink in my hand. On my last visit I unexpectedly had a lovely lunch as by chance a vegan soup was available.
Beautiful tea rooms. Fantastic baguettes, breakfast sandwiches and there signature scones. Lots of shelter outside so even if it rains u can sit comfortably outside. High chairs available and even a little play house for my niece to enjoy. οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½
A tearoom that is well worth a visit serving a variety of mouth watering food. It's also a great place to meet friends and sit and enjoy the views over Aylestone Meadows.
A beautifully idyllic place to stop and rest. My son and I enjoyed a ham & cheese toastie and an ice cream before our walk back to Whetstone. Perfect π
Lovely little tea-room by the River Soar, great stop to break a walk along the river bank. Lovely selection of cakes and snacks at reasonable prices.
Watch the horses while you sip some tea and nibble a scone!
Lovely little find. The staff are helpful and friendly. My only complaint is it is so popular it ran out of food. It was late in the afternoon. I will return.
