The fabulous Fleckney Silver Band taken after our service on Sept 16th. We're so lucky to have their support. Thank you FSB!

Another photo of one of our early services. Love the huge scroll of paper with the hymn words on it. Of course nowadays you get your own hymn book, but we do post the hymn numbers on the tree!

Come and worship in the open air!
I do hope you will be able to make it to our first service of the year on June 17th. The guest preacher will be Sister Liz Heaton of the Society of St Francis and the service will be lead by our very own Rev Liz Bickley.
If you do come, see if you can spot our sundial. If you look closely at this photo you will see it shows 3pm, which just happens to be the start time of our service.

Here are a couple of images showing some of the early reconstruction work on the church ruins. Regular visitors will know that the brick arch top no longer exists.

A fascinating photo of a service from the early 20th Century. Not sure what the year is but the inscription says it's in August. You'll notice they didn't spoil the congregation, like we do now, by setting out chairs!

The Countesthorpe Cottage Home band playing at Knaptoft around 1900. Continuing this tradition, the Fleckney Silver Band will be playing at our service on June 17th.

This is all that remains of Knaptoft Hall, an early C16 manor house built for the Turpin family who acquired the manor in the late C15. The remains were incorporated into a farmhouse and range of farm storage buildings c1843. Now a Grade II listed building.

This is the first of a series of historic images of Knaptoft, collected from friends during 1976-1977, that we will be sharing over the coming weeks. There are some fascinating images here. Hope you enjoy them!
