We are excited to announce that this 'August Bank Holiday Weekend' legendary Champagne house Veuve Clicquot will be transforming our alfresco terrace here in Leicester for a weekend of bubbles, food & Dj's. Kicking off on Friday 24th at our weekly #DrinksForTheCity event experience the new champagne for mixology 'Veuve Clicquot Rich' served by our chic experts accompanied by chef prepared canapés & Dj's continuing through the weekend until Sunday.

It’s The Clock Towers 150th Birthday, and we turning back the hands of time with Tonight’s Chefs Special, a take on a classic comfort food treat. Home made Chicken Supreme Garlic Kiev, served with chorizo Parmentier Potatoes and market salad. We only have a limited amount of tables left for tonight’s service so book now to avoid disappointment.

Yesterday we both had butter chicken skewers, roman fries and onion rings. Absolutely lovely i want it again! The onion rings are gorgeous and loved the marmalade dressing with the chicken also fab staff many thanks.

Wow ! Excellent meal last night at Knight & Garter. We had king prawns & chicken skewers for starters which were to die for . We then had double pork cutlet & tomahawk steak which were cooked to perfection . The staff were excellent & the atmosphere was perfect . Will defiantly be returning .

Wonderful place, very nice decorated, the most chilled beer and the most delicious coffees! The staff is very friendly and the place is sparkling clean. Strongly recommend it!

Went for a Birthday Meal last night... 13 of us! They rang us half an hour before to confirm if we were still coming due to the snow. I confirmed that we were; Super organised team! Service was impeccable, food was delicious and all members of staff were so accommodating as we had the place entirely to ourselves and they really added that personal touch (with a smile)! Everyone said they'd had a lovely time and would be back. Couldn't say enough praise about this place! Ambience and decor great. Please go go go and support this local business xxxx

Took my husband out for a meal here for his birthday here. Absolutely fabulous food, fantastic service and nice setting. Definitely recommending to family and friends. Will be back again for sure. And when I get back to work I will be recommending to our guests !!!

Great relaxing ambience in the secret restaurant behind the books, lovely staff and delicious food (and big portions!). Desert was to die for. Really good quality food. Will be back!

Amazing food and service. We went on Saturday and the waitress knew the menu, the timing was of delivery was spot on and the food amazing. We had a sirloin steak and mushroom tagliatelle and both were great. The Eton mess for desert was great. A great place to have lunch, thoroughly recommend.
