“What’s that, another Italian restaurant?”…could be something that you are thinking. A quick glance up and down your local high street and you will probably see an abundance of commercial Italian restaurants. To put it quite simply, La Storia is not just another Italian restaurant… Italian cuisine today bears little resemblance to the food I have grown up eating in my Nonna’s kitchen, or to the food I eat whilst on holiday in Accettura, the village in the South of Italy that my grandparents emigrated from in the 1950’s.
We are a family run business that wants to bring authenticity in both Italian food and experience to West Bridgford! So pop in for an espresso, a drink after a hard day’s work or sample our signature ‘Eat like an Italian’ menu. Whatever it may be, we look forward to meeting you. Ciao!

Sharing boards never go out of fashion...🍴Our new Autumn menu still includes 4 staple Antipasti platters including a Italian meats selection, veggie board with all the cheese and roast veg, fritto misto otherwise known as lightly battered fish, calamari and king prawns, and finally a homemade breads selection with olives and dipping sauce. ⭐️🙌🏼IS LIVE!🙌🏼⭐️ We’re excited for lots of new warming dishes including roast vegetable, mozzarella and ricotta pastry pie, 5 hour braised beef ragu, fresh pappardelle with vibrant pesto, pan seared duck breast and stuffed aubergine (just to name a few!) We’ve also bought back our much loved Torta Caprese chocolate and almond cake but with an orange twist. 💫

Wow! Meal cooked to perfection! Very flavoursome. Lovely ambience. Staff were so welcoming, professional, helpful and smiling! Had the chicken tagliatelle and the lemon desert to follow which were both divine. The decor is lush and with a relaxing/chilled out background music and candles it was just a lovely meal here. A star !!!!!
Went here early doors with my family and had the special of the day it was beautifully seasoned and the service was lovely. All courses were as delicious I would highly recommend going here if you love Italian food as we do just delicious �

Lovely surroundings with good wine, service and ambience. Food was delicious and authentically Italian. 5 cleaned up plates after dinner!

I visited La Storia with family and I had options from the vegan menu which was all beautiful. Some of the best vegan food I have had while eating out in Nottingham. Thoroughly recommend and I am looking forward to going back.
I have been to La Storia twice since discovering it only a few months ago. I have been extremely happy on both occasions. Not only is the food incredible but the service from the staff is also brilliant. The 'Eat Like an Italian' experience was fantastic! The staff went above and beyond for our table and I can't wait to go back soon.
I found La Storia very comfortable and relaxing. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. I intend to visit again.
Great food we had the specials, the starter and main course. Excellent value for money and friendly staff. Restaurant set out lovely with a few comfy chairs to sit in whilst you waited for friends

Booked here on Friday night after meaning to visit for some time. So annoyed with myself that I've been depriving myself of this beautiful place! Food was to die for, service excellent, nothing too much trouble for our waitress, even though we took an age to order. Some might say there is a small menu, but you need to take in to consideration that this is a family run traditional Italian restaurant where everything is cooked to order, and cooked damned well! I'd love to be able to give a bad review ( don't want it to get to busy that I can't get a table ) but I can't. All I can see is a new favourite restaurant for us to visit.
Best resturant in West Bridgford . Food is varied and always excellent quality. Service is warm and welcoming . Highly recommended 5 stars �����

Went on our second visit to La Storia on Saturday evening. Great warm welcome. Super service. Two of us had the fish which was good and one risotto, clean plate, unfortunately, one had the spaghetti carbonara which he didn’t really enjoy, too dry and a little bland, difficult to get down so left quite a lot. Dessert was shared, rather large portion, but very tasty. Quite busy so book if you want to go on a weekend.
First time here in a party if 4. pleasant atmosphere and good service 3 out of the 4 meals were very good but I wouldn’t recommend the Seafood Risotto
