Nearly there. In 7 days time we will be preparing for our Gin Festival in the garden. Some exciting new gins and some old favorites . Only a few tickets left which can be ordered over the phone or call in to collect. Payment can be made over the phone. Over 30 Gins to taste Goody Bag and complimentary 50 Pound Gin and Tonic. Great value at £25.00 a ticket.

Geoff’s jaunts round the world Champagne France in March, London Wine Fair in May where could he be at his next tasting. The answer is ‘La Zouch Gin Festival’ showcasing famous artisan gins from around the world. Details on our web site www.lazouch.co.uk. Tickets £25.00 includes over thirty gins to try plus a goody bag and 50 Pound Gin badged glass for you to take home, so we don’t have to do the washing up. Limited numbers so get your ticket soon.

Grace Dieu Wine back in stock. New Rose from Grace Dieu Dornfelder Rose 2017 and the Madeleine Angevine 2017. On taste today Westcombe Cheddar and we have three new cheeses in the fridge, Vintage Lincolnshire Poacher, Merry Wyfe and a new French Cheese Tomme De Chevre.

Great to see so many likes on our post today. Hopefully it will get more people to think of coming to Ashby as a great place to visit as well as just shop.

Interesting afternoon last Thursday film crew turning up asking if it possible to film in La Zouch. Geoff mesmerised as he had never heard of the program but as they had been let down we thought no one in so why not. Our garden is to be featured on The Undateables on Channel four with Geoff serving the young couple. They went on to film in the Bath grounds. So national free advertising for our little town. Never seen the program but hopefully they should let us know when it will be aired. So watch this space.

On taste tomorrow Westcombe Cheddar Hard Cheese with a strong taste. Plus New to La Zouch Mr Filberts Nuts. 9 different flavours to ‘try before you buy’. Don't fprget our garden is open to enjoy as they say Saturday should be warmer.

Fresh Crab Salad or sandwich on the menu today just right to eat in the garden or our cheese and wine selection this week is Wigmore and Cote du Rhone

This weekend it is WIGMORE good with Cote du Rhone Rouge on taste for the cheese of the fortnight. Wine pairing and details of the cheese can be seen on our web site www.lazouch.co.uk
