Would definitely recommend giving ladies lifting a try. I've never been particularly strong and was apprehensive to start with, but felt encouraged to work at my own pace and be proud of my achievements. My technique improved weekly as did my strength. Session are hard work, but fun, supportive and encouraging. Very much looking forward to returning in September. Give it a go, you'll be very glad you did. ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

The atmosphere is relax and comfortable. You always feel at ease. Accomplishing your goals with these guys is fun. Fabulous group that 1 high recommend to anyone.

Love every minute of it. I never feel comfortable at the gym using heavy weights for the pure fact of other eyes but at the classes everyone's welcoming and motivating! And brutal ’┐Į’┐Į

I would always enjoy the gym but this is completely different! I started ladies lifting to enjoy lifting weights again in preparation for my wedding and wow what a difference. Not only did my body shape change significantly, I was lifting in a fun, challenging and safe environment. Technique is high on the agenda by the trainers. The physical benefits of lifting are well documented but I also strongly recommend Ladies lifting for how it can improve self confidence and mental health amongst a very supportive lifting community.

I signed up thinking ŌĆ£IŌĆÖll give it a goŌĆØ and a year later I am still doing this, after every session I am always amazed at what I have done, thank you to ladies lifting for showing me new skills

I love my lifting sessions!! I'm not particularly strong (naturally) but my strength has definitely improved and I can see the physical benefits from lifting. The training team are awesome and the sessions are friendly, fun but still challenging. I love the focus on technique and I love that I am pushed in a way that is challenging to me so that I am constantly improving from my last session. Would not hesitate to recommend these sessions!

Carly is a great motivator and trainer. I had never lifted before so was quite nervous to begin with and she made me feel at ease and enjoy the sessions. She has vast knowledge about nutrition too and how to get the best from your body. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Been lifting for almost 3 years, Carly astounds me with her knowledge and drive. If you want to achieve results go to A1. Check out their nutrition page as well for the best approach to feeding your body to build muscle and shed fat. It's a journey and it can be long, with ups and downs, but if you're working on it Carly will be with you every step of the way.

After years of doing various aerobic/Zumba/bodypump classes, or half heartedly fighting it out in the gym by myself, I'm so glad I discovered Carly's lifting classes in time to get wedding ready. Literally nothing has changed my body shape and general fitness more. A lovely, friendly bunch of people too.
