Wonderful lunch yesterday ,great friendly attentive service beautiful served by very smart and articulate waiters .

Food was amazing well presented lovely balance and combination of flavours each course was quite unique and presented with flare and imagination looking lovely. Restaurant was looking lovely with the winter sun coming in through the windows .

We visited Langar Hall last night for my granddaughter's 18th birthday. The experience was excellent in every respect. The food was absolutely delicious served by very attentive, polite and knowledgeable staff, we could not have asked for a better evening. Thank you

Valentines evening, stunning location and food, accompanied by a very talented singer. A costly night but worth every penny, staff were very attentive, the setting was grand and the food was exquisite. Not for those who like a huge plateful, however if you enjoy the taste of very well cooked food this certainly is a place to try.

Stayed here, once again, this time for my 70th Birthday Party. There were 13 of us and we were all treated wonderfully. The food was superb, the rooms were lovely, and, best of all, the hotel staff were on tip-top form. I stay in many hotels each year and none of them match up to Langar Hall.

Returned home from an excellent 1 night stay at Langar Hall, celebrating my Wife's birthday. A Beautiful building in fantastic settings. The interior has your eyes shooting from painting to painting, photo to photo.

We stayed in the Cartland. Wonderfully decorated and a very comfy bed.

Evening meal was to die for(smoked tender loin of pork) the cooked breakfast equally delicious.

Every member of staff we saw was so friendly and happy to chat for a few minutes. All a credit to Langar.

A wonderful first experience of Langar Hall. Can't wait for the second.

My wife, friends and I really enjoyed our stay at Langar Hall. The staff were super and the location was gorgeous. Rooms were beautifully maintained and extremely clean. Couldn't as for more!

My husband surprised me with a stay for our 10th wedding anniversary and we had a fantastic visit. The staff made every effort to ensure our celebration was perfect and the food was superb and beautifully presented. Thank you all. We will definitely be back :-)

It's a resounding 5/5 gold star for me, had a fantastic birthday stay and will definitely be back. The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble, we were given an upgrade on our room so stayed in Cartland but on our mooch round the gardens we may go in Agnews next time as it looks so quaint x

I was surprised by my husband, we went to Langar Hall to celebrate our 31st Wedding Anniversary, everything was absolutely amazing.

I love that Langar Hall continues to hold such magic for us after 21 years of visiting. This year we have had a surprise 60th Birthday here for 40 guests and a private birthday for 4. Both of these have been amazing and both food and service impeccable. Showing that whatever the price the service remains the same. Thank you Langar we will be back. X

I DJ'ed at a wedding there yesterday, the staff from start to finish were very friendly and helpful, the venue is set in some beautiful grounds , I visit numerous wedding venues across Nottinghamshire every year, this little gem is now in my top 5. Keep up the good work and don't change a thing

Henry Blofeld has known the Family for ages -he has been going to this splendid home now famous country Hotel and enjoyed every moment .

A great friend of the late Imogene the owner who was the great English eccentric she treated all who arrived at Langar Hall as old friends ,passing on this great talent to her granddaughter Leela 👌Michael 👌and all who worked at Langar Hall ,

The Restaurant is very popular under Garry and his team who do a wonderful job .

The iconic hotel for all occasions -I could go on and on as I adore the place once Henry introduced me to Langar Hall it is my favourite place .

Food was fantastic full of flavour, please pass on to the chefs.

Service was great as well from the moment we walked in all staff couldn't do enough for us even to washing up my babies bowl for us, first class service.

Place was beautiful and plenty for the kids to do and enjoy.

Everything about Langar Hall is perfect. From the warmth of the welcome, the stunning surroundings, the quirky furnishings and the delicious food. We came as party of 19 to celebrate my Mum's 70th birthday tea, everything was incredible and we couldn't have asked for more. They even willingly handed over the recipe to the most delicious biscuits I have ever eaten in my life! You really do feel as though you are at home and part of a big extended family!

We will be back!

An absolute gem of a place. From the moment you arrive you feel at home and the staff can't do enough to make you feel welcome.

The food is easily amongst the best out their. My wife and I are often treated to a tasting menu and the chefs excel themselves every time.
