What a lovely birthday! The staff were lovely, friendly and made my birthday really specially. My children were catered for and made it an enjoyable first time afternoon tea experience for them. Food delicious! Came out feeling full to the brim! My daughter kindly emptied her purse for a tip, all leaving with a big thank you hug! Certainly will return. Thank you lesley and the team x

What a little gem in a beautiful village. Me and my friend had a great time here this afternoon for drinks and a Bakewell tart and bakewell pudding. Patsy and Leslie made us feel at home and very welcome in the lovely tea room and we’ll definitely be coming back soon.

What a gorgeous tea room! The staff are super friendly and welcoming, the decore is quaint and cosy, the food tea and coffee were spot on even the music playing in the background added to the lovely atmosphere! Would recommend if your ever in Bakewell popping in to this little hidden jewel. Will be calling again and sampling the traditional afternoon tea. �

Visited here 3 years ago and then again a few days ago, wonderful hidden gem. Stumbled across it by accident the first time. The afternoon tea deluxe is amazing and would highly recommend. Lovely staff who go out of their way to make sure your enjoying your visit. Will be coming back next time were in the peak district.

Visited for the first time today and had afternoon tea. Sandwiches and cakes were divine. Plenty of tea in the pot. Staff very welcome and friendly. Lovely setting. Cannot fault anything about today and look forward to visiting again when in the area.

Very nice place, not overly priced, staff excellent. Keep it up 💋

Stopped on my bike whilst passing. Quick service, hot coffee and a very fresh cheese sandwich & salad. Also filled my water bottle up.

Our traditional afternoon tea was absolutely lovely... and the service was personal, friendly and attentive right through from booking the table in advance, to us walking out of the door. We will be back!

Our second visit to this wonderful tea rooms today. Each time the food has been superb and the staff lovely, welcoming and efficient. The décor inside and out is beautiful and tea is served in proper china cups, all extra details that make the visit more special. Our favourite place in Bakewell for sure!

My Mum and I both love The Lavender Tea Rooms. We have been several times including when the 60th Birthday surprise was taking place. We can only speak as we find and have always found Lesley and her team to be very accommodating and obliging. My Mum is both lactose and gluten intolerant but this is no problem for Lesley and her team. On Saturday we had the most marvellous afternoon tea which we’ve not been able to have before due to Mum’s dietary requirements. I emailed Lesley and got a very quick reply advising me that this would indeed be possible to do as a celebration for Mum’s Birthday. Afternoon tea was fabulous - especially with a glass of prosecco too �We’ll definitely be going back again to The Lavender Tea Rooms as it’s our favourite tea rooms in Bakewell. Lesley and her team are always very friendly and accommodating and can’t do enough for you. The setting and ambience is fab as well as the food and music. I would definitely recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment as it is very disappointing if you can’t get in. Keep up the fab work Lesley and the team xx

I visited yesterday with my fiance and had the traditional cream tea. We were slightly early (we had pre-booked) but that wasn't a problem and we were seated upstairs. It was a lovely experience overall - service was great, plenty of tea in the teapot and a lovely range of sandwiches and cakes. Had a lovely time and would definitely return and recommend visiting here to others.

I think this place is fantastic.. me and my fiancee go there on date days... still yet to have the full afternoon tea. But the lavender tea is so nice with that lavender bun.. see you all soon when on our date day again..

Fantastic afternoon tea today to celebrate my birthday, a party of 6 of us, I am gluten free I can honestly say it was one of the best I’ve had, the homemade cakes were really lovely, served on gorgeous cake stand and pretty vintage china, the staff were very attentive and friendly, will definitely return, many thanks,

Fabulous tea room/cafe for delicious lunch or afternoon tea. Soya hot choc to die for! And super friendly staff who couldn't do more to make you feel welcome. Will definitely be back! Thank you!

Fab little acquaint place to spend an hour or two. Called for a snack and a cup of tea, food and drink was excellent and the staff was very welcoming. Would love to call again if ever in the area. Xx

Celebrated our anniversary at Lavender Tea Rooms this afternoon! We will definitely be returning and totally recommend this quaint and quirky tea room. We had the traditional afternoon tea with prosecco - scones were delicious and the Bakewell pudding tantalised my tastebuds to the extreme! Booked via Lesley who was very welcoming and attentive. Staff were really friendly and gave 5* service

Beautiful tea shop, the upstairs room has lovely decor and our table overlooked the quant courtyard. Staff were exceptional staying late so we could enjoy a birthday afternoon tea with our friends, nothing was to much trouble, sandwiches and cake were delicious and well presented, thank you . We'll definitely be making the trip to Bakewell again for afternoon tea at the lavender tea rooms
